Does it works for you? Some people can't eat breakfast once they get up in bed. Here in the Philippines, we are accustomed to what we call Brunch... its a combination of breakfast and lunch meal, usually taken between 9 and 11 a.m. Then, we skip lunch. I usually take small meals. At night, I can't sleep without eating something... but, I always take vegetables for my dinner. It works. I am fit and feels great. By the way, before dinner, I usually have my workout in the gym. That's why I really need to eat after the workout to regain my strength. If I won't eat, I wont be able to sleep. I usually suffered from headache if I skip my dinner.

If you feel good eating this way (ie no energy crashes throughout the day, no bad flatulence or belching and no hunger), then continue. But I find that most people tend to feel a lot better when they eat at least something, like a piece of fruit or a piece of toast.

It isn't something that you'll notice the effects of immediately while you're young and vital, but give it a few years and your digestive system will probably not like it too much.

A heavy meal in the evening is not really recommended because your upper digestive tract is winding down it's function in preparation for sleep, so you won't break down or use the nutrients in your food as well.

For people that feel sick in the morning or have no appetite, I recommend the juice of half a lemon or two teaspoons apple cider vinegar in a glass of water as soon as you rise. This will wake up your digestive system and help you better use the nutrients that you take in.

If you can't have anything in the morning, don't. Most Mediterraneans don't have breakfast and haven't died.
I don't know what you mean by "heavy" vegetarian dinner, but whatever works for you is fine! This huge breakfasts are an Anglo-Saxon obsession and a pure British and American thing.

You should never skip breakfast as it gives your body the nutrients it needs to begin the day.
Instead of eating a 'heavy' meal, eat throughout the day--breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and evening snack.

NO WAY!! Brekky is the most important meal of the day. Remember those adds that show a child who has brekky and a child who does not??? Better to have a big brekky than a big dinner.
You shouldn't have a big dinner anyway because you should not go to bed on a full stomach because you cannot burn the calories/fat/protein etc.

No, not at all. Your body needs fuel throughout the day. Thats like saying you can run your car on empty if you are just going to be in town, but you only fuel it for a long trip. You will retain weight by doing that, as your body senses that it is not getting adequate nutrition on a consistant basis, so it will store fat as a reserve. Small, frequent, healthy meals throughout the day are best.

Yes if you wanna grow fatter. Breakfast kicks start the body metabolism and a heavy dinner daily can make us fat that's what I heard,

It's always better to eat a few smaller meals throughout the day then to pack all your sustenance in all at the same time.
