yes
its mainly water but some have more nutrition then others
Lettuce and other leafy green salads are all very low in calories and can be eaten freely.
Lettuce aids digestion and promotes liver health. It can also reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and cataracts. Other research shows it helps to reduce the risk of cancer and may ease nervous insomnia.
If iceberg is the only type of lettuce you eat, you are choosing the least-nutritious member of a family of nutritional champions. Any other lettuce or leafy green vegetable would be a better choice. Most other greens are also good sources of vitamin C, beta-carotene, folate, and dietary fiber as well as some calcium.
As a general rule, the darker green the leaves, the more nutritious the salad green. For example, romaine or watercress have seven to eight times as much beta-carotene, and two to four times the calcium, and twice the amount of potassium as iceberg lettuce. By varying the greens in your salads, you can enhance the nutritional content as well as vary the tastes and textures.
The fresher the salad, the better. When the cut surfaces are exposed to air, it diminishes the crispness as well as the nutritional quality of the lettuce

Providing only six to 20 calories per cup, lettuce and other salad greens should be considered a nutritional bargain and a great way to get in one of your five servings of fruits and vegetables each day.
As a rule of thumb, the outer leaves as well as lettuce varieties that are dark green and reddish in color are the most nutritious. But even popular, but pale, iceberg lettuce provides water, fiber, folate, and small amounts of other important vitamins and minerals like zinc and potassium.

well it really depends on what kind of lettuce you are eating.
Iceburg or head lettuce has 0% nutritional value. It is basically just crunchy water.
Romain lettuce & fresh greens are good for you. They contain vitamins and minerals and some posess antioxidents.

It is a free food, which means that if you are on a diet you can eat as much as you want. It also helps with the digestive track. Are you just trying to get out of eating lettuce, or are you trying to find a reason to eat it? LOL A rabbit can survive on luttuce, that says something right there.

I was in The 4th Infantry Mess Hall having lunch when an "A" Team walked in with about twenty 'yards all armed to the teeth. A Brigade Major followed and announced the visitors were to be fed immediately. Several tables were joined, the
party became seated, and cooks hurriedly set out big bowls of fresh salad mix, plates, silverware, and dressing crocks.
The cooks had hardly turned their backs when every 'yard present was loading live ammunition and the soft 'clicks' of
weapon safety being deactivated silenced everyone present.
There was a hasty conference between the Major and the "A" Team leader. "Men'", the Major announced, "Our guests, it seems, are insulted with only being offered animal food for
their luncheon and I've agreed to let them use our kitchen to
whatever use they see fit." Hardly had these words been spoken than the table setting was all shoved to the floor and
five large dead snakes were pulled from burlap sacking.
