Why do companies insist in saying that their products do not contain trans fats when in truth, anything that contains hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated ingredients actually do contain trans fats. It may be a very small amount but why are they allowed to mislead the general public in this way? Some people need to avoid these dangerous kinds of fats due to medical conditions etc.

1. What is your favorite way to eat caviar when you're just enjoying it by yourself? If you're one of those who think simple is best and just spoon it onto a cracker, what kind of cracker do you recommend?

2. What is your favorite way to serve caviar when entertaining friends?

I remember these peanuts as a child some 50 years ago. They were a small round peanut, with a thin red covering and came salted. I've checked all the bodaga's in my neighborhood (Ozone Park) and where I work (Cypress Hills, Brooklyn) and not one store has any. In fact they look at me as if I'm crazy asking for Spanish peanuts! Someone out there must know what I'm talking about and can guide me to a store so I can taste these delicious nuts, one more time, before I die! Thank you.

hi, so basically here's my question: I'm a freshman in highschool and the only thing that i had ever heard about drinking and that type of thing came from my parents and DARE before this year. i really just want to know how much of the stuff they tell me is true i guess? like will one beer actually do that much (if any) damage?

im not going 2 like go out and drink or anything if you say that it does. im not easily influence by peer pressure haha barely at all. but a buuunch of my friends drink fairly regularly...particularly the ones that are at least a year older than me & i wanted to know if i should be concerned about their heath? or if it really wont effect them much besides the hangovers the next morning..

I was eating some blackberries that I recently purchased and looked in the container while I was eating them. Some of the blackberries had mold on them. I don't think any of the ones I ate had mold...at least I didn't see any. Is it safe to eat the ones that don't appear to have mold? And what if I did eat one that had mold on it? Is that dangerous?

I would like to make home made empanadas, Does anyone have an authentic recipe maybe passed down from their mom or grandma? I know some people make them with meat inside but I would like a recipe with sweet potatoe or pumpkin.

Thanks

I was wanting to change it up a bit this weekend and stray away from my normal drinks to try something new.

Thing is there are SO many different kinds of mixed drinks and some are just too much work/money for a poor college kid such as myself.

Any suggestions on good, easy and cheap to make mixed drinks? (besides a screwdriver)
