I was eating some blackberries that I recently purchased and looked in the container while I was eating them. Some of the blackberries had mold on them. I don't think any of the ones I ate had mold...at least I didn't see any. Is it safe to eat the ones that don't appear to have mold? And what if I did eat one that had mold on it? Is that dangerous?

Even if you can't see the mold on the ones you ate, they probably still had mold spores on them that just hadn't grown enough to become visible. Eating moldy food can make you very sick. If you start to feel sick or have symptoms like vomiting or diarrhea, go see a doctor. Hopefully, you didn't consume enough of the mold spores to make you sick, but you should definitely throw the rest away and in the future, be more careful when eating food that you have had for awhile.

I'm sure you'll live but chuck them.
