What can I use if I dont have shortening for flour tortillas?

I wanna make homemade flourt tortillas but no shortening or lard what can I use in its place and will it be a big difference??? thanks

My recipe calls for canola oil.

2 cups AP flour
Good pinch of salt
1/4 cup canola oil
2/3 cup warm water

Blend the first three in a processor, then drizzle in the water.

How about butter or margarine. That should work and taste even better!
