I wouldn't measure it, I would just assume it was a teaspoon.
But if I were you, I would use the teaspoon to fill a gallon jug and count the spoons. After 768 spoons the jug should be full, and you will know that a teaspoon is 1/768 of a gallon. But more importantly, you will have wasted your own time, rather than wasting other people's.

pour the liquid into a graduated measuring cup. since its a small amount... you will need a small cup such as the ones that come with cough syrup.
Or you can very carefully measure the spoon and use calculus to determine how much it will hold.
