I remember these peanuts as a child some 50 years ago. They were a small round peanut, with a thin red covering and came salted. I've checked all the bodaga's in my neighborhood (Ozone Park) and where I work (Cypress Hills, Brooklyn) and not one store has any. In fact they look at me as if I'm crazy asking for Spanish peanuts! Someone out there must know what I'm talking about and can guide me to a store so I can taste these delicious nuts, one more time, before I die! Thank you.

Spanish peanuts are sometimes referred to as Red Skins. Just about any Convience store has them with the other snacks. In the little bags. Lance, Tom's, and Planters all have them.

Any nut section of a large grocery store. They are usually "raw", for peanut brittle.
