I'm going to be making 2 pecan and 2 pumpkin pies for T-day. I wanted to make them this Saturday, and as you probably know T-day is next Thursday. Will those pies make it till then, or should I make them closer to T-day? It's hard when I'm working during the week to bake. Help?

for example, i have seen two exact same yellow cake recipes, and 1 calls for sifted flour, and 1 calls for just flour.

I have some food in my cupboard that is anything from a few months "out of date" to several years.

Is some of that food safe to eat?

For example there are a number of dehydrated foods such as pasta with suace (well powder anyway), also noodles and even powdered desserts. Sureley they would have a much longer "shelf life"?

And are there any foods which are particularly dangerous to eat beyond their best before dates?

Please because I was watching Hogan Knows best and he had to go out of his way to look for Kosher fod. He even entertained the idea of thaking regular food and claiming it Kosher. Could a person tell the difference if someone did that?

I am a strong, independent woman who has her own career. I try to juggle my work-life balance perfectly, yet I was mortified to discover that I had inadvertently sent my lovely fiance off to work with mouldy bread. Is my reputation in tatters?
