I bought a 16 1/2 pound turkey. The cookbook says to cook the turkey for 20 minutes per pound if
it is unstuffed and 25 minutes per pound if the turkey is stuffed. I plan on having a stuffed
turkey.
If I want to eat at 1:00 p.m., what time should I put the turkey in? Oh, yes, the cookbook says
to let the turkey stand for 10 minutes after coming out of the oven.

MORE ON THIS NEW CALCIUM BOTTLED WATER: This is NOT a sparkling water. It is regular water. A 1/2 liter (approx. 16 oz.) contains approximately 10% of your daily Calcium needs -- all of which is 100% absorbable into your system (unlike the pills you may take). Plus it contains an appropriate amount of Dr. and World Health Organization recommended Magnesium. This water tastes, looks and smells the same as the other bottled water you are already purchasing. BOTTLED WATER FOR HEALTHIER BODIES: More than just strong bones and teeth, the need for CA and MG is very complex. An adequate intake of daily dietary CA is required to control the heart rate, blood clotting, muscle contraction, and much more. MG also is an important co-factor in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the human body, incl. cardiovascular functions, the synthesis of energy, absorption of CA, contraction of muscles (incl. the heart) blood clotting and nerve messaging. Americans do not receive enough Mag. & Cal. THANK YOU!

Got a recipe here for a fruit cake, which I am going to make on Saturday. A 9" square cake, to be cut into 4 for little gifts for people.

My question is this - the cooking temperature is 140C, 275F, Gas 1. What would that be in C in a fan assisted oven? I have made a few cakes in this oven, reducing the given temp by 10-15% ish, but it's very hit & miss.

Does anyone have a definite temperature, from a "fan-assisted oven cookery book" or something?

Thank-you!

Do you prefer to have less-than-perfect home pizza rather than wait for it to cook in a conventional oven for a perfect crispy browned top?

I'm European and new to the whole peanut butter thing. I thought it was only as sandwich spread, but a friend tells me she eats it from the jar. Is this normal?
What other ways are there to eat peanut butter besides sandwiches?
