I don't like the print your own kind, I tried them for my save the date cards and they came out horrible. Please do not suggest this as an option. I am looking for a reputable place someone has ordered cheap but nice invitations from and were satisfied. I have tried GOOGLE and such to no avail. I can't find anything affordable yet decent looking. Please help, we are on a terribly tight buget, yet I don't want to go without traditional invitations and response cards. Thank you

I need to raise money for my wedding and this is the only way I can think of without borrowing or loaning money. I actually have two rings, one is a gold solitaire engagement ring and the other one is a 3-stone diamong ring. The solitaire ring looks new as I haven't used it too long. I bought it a year ago just for investment.

My wedding is in three weeks and hopefully somebody can help me out. Either buy the ring or an advice as to what I can do. I tried pawning it but it was so low. Thank you in advance.

doesn't the veil represent her virginal purity and youth? I think veils are so beautiful but also think it seems passe but would like to know what some other ladies in their 30's think.

My daughter is getting married next month. Today is the deadline for RSVP's to come in (don't even ask about how many are here - that's a whole other story!).

This weekend, I get an RSVP from someone whose name I don't recognize. When I got here to the office, I checked the file, and sure enough, this guy isn't on the list. No biggie, I figure he's somebody's significant other...he did, after all, RSVP for two, and my guess was that the invitation was mailed to the girlfriend.

When I asked my daughter about it, neither she nor her fiance know anyone by this name (first and/or last).

No return address. Local postmark. No one in the book with that last name.

My current thought is that one of the invitations went to the wrong address, and he's looking forward to a free meal. I'm thinking he must be fairly clever, and I might enjoy meeting him...He'll probably sit in the back of the room, though, with the kids.

What would you do in the same situation?

I keep seeing a lot of responses deal with setting a budget and being smart when planning a wedding. Beyond telling me to go buy a book and do it myself, what are some real actual saving tips and ideas. Give me at least 5 if you can.

I have known my boyfriend since 6th grade but we just started dating 2 months ago. I always doubted when people say you just know when the person is right, but I actually really do feel like he is what I have been looking for. I know he is thinking the same way but it 2 months too soon to be thinking about marriage even though we have known each other for 12 years?

I'm getting really upset about this guest list situation. Any advice or words of wisdom would be great. We are having our reception in the church hall after the wedding. It holds 250 people. Well, my mom and my FMIL sat down to do a guest list and this list has gone up to 420 people!!! Thats INSANE!! I have tried to tell the moms that I get 150, and my fiance gets 150....which is ok on my side. But his side is almost 300 people!! And his mom is insisting we have to invite all of them, even though we have been together for 6 years and I have never met most of them and I know its been a good ten years since hes seen 90% of them. FMIL suggested we just rent a bigger venue!!! UM HELLO!! MY parents are paying for this and his parents have offerend NO financial support!!! How do I handle this?? I've tried to be firm but polite...and its not working. I will not put my parents in bankruptcy feeding people that I have never met and whom he hasnt seen since childhood.

I saw this question was already posted once, but my angle is that I hear people saying that it's not a honeymoon if you took your bride to where you grew up. We also visited some family of mine and I saw my cousin get married, and this trip was on our one-year anniversary. If I fell short, tell me and I'll be booking tickets to Cancun!!

I bought a dress last year for homecoming and a couple people suggested I wear it to a wedding next month. I am just a little concerned that it is to flashy and not wedding appropriate. I will be going with my friend and do not know anything about the wedding other than the date.

I could not find a picture of my dress but this one is similar http://www.amazon.com/TRIXXI-Glitter-Halter-Dress-Medium/dp/B000VM776M/ref=sr_1_25/102-0018424-4667367?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1190008443&sr=1-25.

The only big differences are mine has regular straps of about an inch in width instead of being a halter. Also my dress is teal.

Would this be appropriate or should I consider something else? Thanks in advance!!!

I don't want to have a loud band with people dancing like crazy at my wedding. No rock, etc. What type of band would I search for that would play classical music, jazz, etc? Also some nice classic slow songs would be great - i.e. Nat King Cole style.

Where would you go? Does the day you renew have to be the same day that you were first married? Would you (if you could) renew on your first wedding anniversary?

Thanks
