PLEASE HELP!!!!! my friend is getting married on the 23rd of this month and she has designated me as the wedding planner. at first we were just going to go to dinner afterwards, but now she wants a reception. does anyone know of any place in indianapolis, indiana that i could hold the reception at that is not that expensive. i need to find somewhere asap because i am running out of time

Trevor passed away last year Feb. 28, 2006 in a car accident. I was 20 weeks pregnant. The week after that I found out I was having a baby boy, that would never meet his grandpa. My mom and him were married for 10 years. I've known him since I was 11...now 23.

I was thinking since it's a small outdoor wedding and we are only allowed 5 chairs for the elderly that 1 chair with a rose would be trevor...maybe put his picture on it too.

My fiance and I might have gotten married last year had this not happened...i just couldnt bring myself to get married to soon afterward...feeling so guilty that he wasnt going to be there, wishing i had done it before he was gone. :(

Okay so we are going to have a yellow/white wedding. My problem is I don't know if this is all going to look good! I know I want my bridesmaids in yellow cocktail dresses. but groomsmen?? I don't want them in tuxes, this is what I was thinking:

white shirt w/ yellow tie, black slacks?
white shirt, yellow tie, khaki slacks?
yellow shirt, white tie, black or khaki slacks?

opinions please!

also my husband doesn't want to wear a white tux, do you think a black tux w/ a yellow vest would look okay or too bumble bee-ish?

Well I only have 17 more days to finalize guest lists... We just decided last week to finally get married after bring engaged since Aug. 2005 and NOW Have a 8 month old baby. We decided suddenly because we just want to finally be married.

Almost everything is planned. Caterer, photographer, dress, tuxedos, officiant, ceremony site, reception site...everything but the guest list...people cant just say "YES ILL BE THERE...or NO I CANT MAKE IT" They have to draw it out...JUST DECIDE!!!

My tio-to-be was and is very dear to myself and my fiance. I just wish that he would be here physcially for the wedding. I know that he will be there in our hearts and spiritually. My fiance's brother (best man) told me he does not approve of me. nobody in his family does. I can't face him up there on what should be the happiest day of our lives. They have said too many negative things. Is it possible to just have my MOH and one bridesmaid and just have the brother be an usher with no groomsmen or best man? Can an usher walk the bridesmaids down the aisle and be seated. He doesnt want to pick anyone over his brother and would rather stand alone.
