My boyfriend, I found out, is getting me a white gold promise ring from Dunkin's Diamonds. I wanna get him a promise ring, too, but I don't know if it should be a plain gold band or what? Where can I get men's promise rings besides e-bay? Some website links would be appreciated.

I don't have a lot of money. I'm currently looking for a job.

My bf and I will be getting engaged later this year (shh - don't tell anyone!), so we have been discussing possible locations and dates to get married next year. We (and by "we" I mean "I") were thinking of an outdoor wedding in spring or summer. We had been considering Laguna Beach (on the beach for the wedding), but then read somewhere that they won't allow chairs for people to sit in during the ceremony. Also heard that Laguna Beach only has very expensive reception places. Does anyone have any ideas (preferrably in Orange County)?

Like the question said I am making a towel cake for my brothers wedding gift. I am using a bottle of wine for the center. I want to hide things in the cake like they do for the baby diaper cakes but not sure what to put in them. My friend suggested condoms but they are trying to have a baby so that will not work. My fiance and I are going to look at an old plantation (complete with a gorgeous turn-of-the-century chapel!) for a possible wedding/reception site this weekend.

The wedding will be in the chapel, while the reception will be held outside in the gardens (there is no place for an inside reception), so we plan to rent a tent and all the works.

What questions should we ask the site manager? I've thought of a lot, I just want to see if you guys think of any I haven't yet thought of!

Not keen on penis theme or any other beaten up ideas like strippers. Limo is not original enough. Still thinking about a spa event.

But can you think of any other unique and classy ideas? Again, we are flying to Cancun to celebrate and will be doing the whole touristy bit but need something extra to just scream bachelorette trip.

I believe there is a fine line between fun and trashy, I don't want to cross that.

I have a short bob similar to Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham. I have not been able to find any nice hairstyles for brides with short hair. I've tried theknot.com and yahoo image search, but nothing comes up that is modern and elegant. My dress is going to be a very simple halter top satin dress. I don't want anything too fancy. My brother is getting married soon and is paying for the entire wedding. His fiance's family is contributing NOTHING. Our side of the family has only 40 guests which includes five children (all under 10 yrs old). Her side has 150 guests. I want to get my fiance out of the house for aournd 2-3 hours this weekend. I want to make a nice dinner with the works (a cake, flowers, candles, etc) without him knowing.
