We do the same thing as Sue B's "Orange Whiz" for my brother's Groom Table's. It's a great recipe. We've never added alcohol because it's such a hit with kids.
I think you're awesome for being willing to do this for him. Congrats on your engagement and upcoming wedding.

You're wanting an alcohol based punch or not?
You could do a bowl of fuzzy navels
OJ
Peach schnaaps
or hairy navels.
OJ
Peach schnaaps
Vodka
A non-alcoholic punch that's good is
Orange sherbet with cold 7-up or some other lemon-line soda pop over it.

What a great idea! I'd probably go with orange sherbet with 1/2 orange pop and 1/2 ginger ale poured over it. It'll create an orange 'slush', and even though it won't quench anyone's thirst, it'll look great with the camo stuff!!!
Best wishes on your upcoming wedding!

BLOOD ORANGE PUNCH
Makes 8 cups; serves 8 to 10
2 bottles (25 ounces each) blood orange juice, chilled
3 cans (12 ounces each) natural orange soda (such as San Pellegrino Aranciata), chilled
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
8 ounces light rum (such as Appletons)
5 dashes bitters
1 blood orange or orange, cut into 1/4-inch-thick wedges and frozen
1. Fill ice cube trays with 1 1/2 cups orange juice, and freeze. To make punch, stir remaining orange juice, soda, lime juice, rum, and bitters into a 16-cup punch bowl. Before serving, add frozen orange slices. Add ice cubes as needed to keep chilled.

If you want liquor in it Bacardi O, Orange Soda, Ginger Ale and maybe some Orange Sherbert. If you don't want liquor, just omit the Bacardi O. If you don't like Bacardi O, go for Vodka. I've made punch before similar to this and it was great.

My sister had "orange punch" at her wedding. My parents catered the wedding (making the punch) My mom used Orange koolaid, pineapple juice and sprite or 7up. It tasted great. We had one punch bowl with vodka mixed in and the other was for the kiddies. We are doing pink punch for my wedding.
