Well there are a few places. A fine bakery will make you up a beautiful christening cake. Tell them how many people will be attending and they will make a cake for that amount of people. Usually christening cakes are rectangular. Also if someone in your family knows a cake decorator who works out of her home, you can hire her to make the christening cake. She may be less expensive. Try these two recommendations.

If no wedding cake from good local baker, or ready iced from Mark & Spencer and get the decoration or piece for the top from a local supplier. If you are in UK and have a Cosco nearby and you or friends have a card they do huge cakes to your requirements very nice and really reasonable.

Any bakers will supply you with a christening cake - you could choose your own decorations on it too.

I would suggest contacting your local bakery. You can tell them what you need the cake for and I'm sure they would be able to accomodate you.
