so I have a location, a dress, getting invites out this week, gotta find a justice of the peace or some thing, rings, etc. what advice do you wish some body had thrown yor way before your wedding, traditions or the like, or what have you learned putting your own wedding together that might be usefull? any one got any advise?

My own personal advice (from a wedding photographer), find your photographer as soon as possible. I can't tell you how many brides we have had to refer to other places because they waited too late and we (as well as most of the other great photographers in our area) were already booked.

You don't need to send out invites until about 8-12 weeks in advance.
Please wait until you book an officiant, in case you have to change your time. Once those invites are sent your stuck.
The officiant is the most important part of the ceremony. Find one now

well im glad its your foirst time getting married. I personally havent put a wedding together but my advise is that when you think everything is going wrong, just remeber that it always works out in the end! i hope i helped!

the best advice anyone can give you is to make sure you are as prepared for the marriage as you are for the wedding.
