Just the two of us....a beach in Mombassa...a safari honeymoon....but things didn't work out, I am heart broken and dreading friday...it will be all I can think about.
Any suggestions on what I should do to take my mind off it!!

the date i've chosen for my wedding falls on a friday. i'm just wondering, even though i've heard from lots of places that friday is cheaper to rent places, catering, etc. has anyone had their wedding on a friday and honestly had it be less expensive that it would have on another day? thanks everyone!!

She and I met on myspace initially and we decided to meet at a park for our first meeting. My fiance and I have been living together for 2 years. So needless to say, we have everything we need around the house. How can we let our guests know (in the shower invitations, etc. where you'd normally put where the couple is registered) that we'd prefer gift cards or cash? I can't think of a way that doesn't sound tacky.

How long are Americans going to put up with this crap? Martin Luther Kings papers are hidden until supposedly 2027. Does anyone think they'll look at the papers and decide to revoke his holiday. I think the answer is that they figure America will be finished by then. What do you think?

my husband and i got married at the court house but Ireally wanted a family wedding it hurts me that i will never get the chance to walk down that isle in a wedding gown. he tells me that we could have a family wedding on our 1yr anniversary with the whole white dress thing but i think that is kin of strange but at the same time i want it ? i have good educational background and i am more intrested in studies. i earned many titiles and always strive for it. i am in love with a guy very serious tat we cannt live without each other. i cant judge my self which is imporatant. and the time is so less that we have to deside because he is aroung 28 and have to marry now. and if i go get marry him. i have leave my career plans( to become a scientist) and if i leave him . i can really feel that everything is lost in my life and my achevment is mear waste. and if i think i can continue after marriage. i shouldn't get the break in my job because i was the R&D based . pls suggest me what i have to do

I know this might sound like a stupid question to some ppl but...
Is it really necessary to get a facial every month and up to three days before your wedding date?

I was told that since im getting married in june that i need to start getting facials in March, April, May and then 3 days before my wedding day in June. Almost every bride i know goes crazy getting facials as well but...is this necessary or do brides just do it because thats what everyone does? Does this help the makeup artist or something? What is the real deal or advantage?

My skin is very very sensative and i do break out but i cant use acne scrubs or anything like that because it'll make my skin dry and flaky. Currently i am using St. Ives Apricot scrub for sensative skin but i still break out from time to time. I tried using the regular St. Ives Apricot Scrub but it still made my skin dry and flaky which is why i switched to the Sensative skin one. Am i suppossed to be doing something else as well?

A friend posted a similar question for me yesterday, and one response was extremely helpful.

They said that there was a princess in Vienna, Princess Sisi (Empress Elisabeth of Austria) that adorned the same earrings and hair clips I'm looking for.

I googled it, and came up with the website above. However, it would cost nearly $7000 for the earrings, and I just don't have that kind of money, lol.

The poster suggested trying to contact various souvineir shops in Vienna, and advised that replica's for this jewelry was all over the Hofburg Plaza.

So far, I haven't been able to find a link to any suvenier shop in Vienna and I haven't been able to find a place that makes these same pieces of jewelry with swarovski crystals instead of diamonds.

If any of you know how I can get a hold of a shop that sells these items, please post the link in your reply.

A friend of mine is getting married soon and would like a his/her wedding shower without gifts. It is her first marriage and his second, so they just want a celebration of the wedding to come. They own a home and are well established.
