My husband's dad sang "When I Said I Do" right after we said our vows... while he was singing we lit a memory candle for my husband's mother (she passed away 6 years ago). His dad got choked up when he saw us lighting it and apoligized later but I think it was perfect in every aspect. Our first song we should have danced to (but didn't/can't b/c my husband is paralyzed) was "Shameless" by Garth Brooks b/c it was our song when we were in high school and dating.

My husband and I were serenaded by the youth pastor at our church ( awesome singer) he sang " god bless the broken road" by Rascal Flatts. We chose that song because we both had a lot of trials in our life and that song described us perfectly.

Ours was "Lover Lay Down" by Dave Matthews Band - my husband and I are both huge fans (having seen them in concert over 20 times each!) and it just seemed fitting.
