I bought a wedding gown last august. My boyfriend was going to propose to me soon, but he's not contacting me. I need a groom. Is there anyone who could help me with this problem?

Help me solve an argument with my fiance, for our limo on our wedding day he wants black, I say white. I think that the color of the day should be white for the bride, but he says black will work too (I think it looks like a funeral). Which would be the better color, or does it matter?

I'm curious, as in my family, the bride's family have paid for the day reception, invites, cake etc. and the groom's parents have paid for the night do. The more I read up on this, I do not know if it is the norm. What do you think?

My fiance and I would like to request that men wear shirts and ties to our wedding. How do we word that without people thinking we are asking them to wear tuxes and ballgowns?

My fiance and I are not going to have alcohol at our reception (Neither of us will be 21 and neither of us drink- not even most of the people in our families). However, I don't want everyone to get bored and leave right away. We'll have a dj but a lot of the people won't dance. Are there appropriate things to do at a wedding reception? Please take the type of event into consideration. Thanks.

Workin on my playlist! I have my father/daughter, first dance, bouquet toss, etc songs figured out, now what I need is the filler! What songs make you wanna get up and dance? I plan on having a lot of the YMCA, Cha Cha, electric slide, chicken dance sorta stuff, what other ones have pre-made dances? (gonna have a lot of older un-coordinated folks who would enjoy the direction!) but what songs are good? preferably up-beat please!

Also, what do you HATE!? I am already ruling out anything Justin Timberlake or Beyonce, but beyond that what would make you wanna run for the door?

Ok, so my brother is getting married in August and I have no idea what to wear.....and I'm not part of the wedding, so I don't need to coordinate or anything. I just need a nice summer dress about knee length that I could wear...does anyone know of any good stores or sites I could go to?..It would be a big help...thanks!

ok, so my fiance and i fianlly narrowed my choices down to 2 (for the most part, there's one we really like, but it's out of our price range) for the wedding dresses. in general, it'd be either a pale, cornflower blue type colour (not sure cornflwoer blue is the right shade...but it sounded pretty!) or ivory with blue accents and floral embroidery. which dress do you think would be a better choice? oh, and i'de change them both to a wider v-neckline!

We are getting married in June and would like to print the invitations ourselves- we are having a small wedding and would only need about 20. Are there any websites that could give me some ideas- templates- instructions for doing this? I've seen kits at the store to use but some are a bit generic looking. We'd like to make it more personal. Thanks!

I really need the answers to the following questions, it would be very very helpful:

1) Are there any ceremonies before building up to the wedding?

2) Is there a dowry? If so, why?

3) Where do they get married? Is it considered important?

4) Is a Buddhist wedding seen more as a legal ceremony or a religious ceremony?

5) Are there any ceremonies after the wedding?

6) What happens if things go wrong? Is divorce allowed? Is remarriage allowed?

Thank you very much.

My husband and I are planning to renew our wedding vows. I am planning a second wedding ceremony for the occasion. Just because he said I could. I have a few questions considering this ceremony.

1. Can I still have attendants such as matron of honor?
2. Can I wear a veil with my wedding gown.
3. Do I have to have it in the same place as the original wedding?

My family and friends are in the process of putting together my bridal shower. I was wondering, since this is going to be a women's only shower, do you think I should put my 16 yr old soon to be step daughter on the guest list? I don't want to exclude her, but at the same time there will not be anyone that young there. Does someone this young even belong at a bridal shower????

My wedding is going to be in a public park. The location is beautiful as far as its view and surroundings are concerned. It has a pretty, but small veranda area where only the wedding party will stand. The downside is that in front of the veranda is a parking lot (behind it is the downslope of the hill it is on). So basically my guests will be standing (no chairs are allowed-park rules) in a parking lot on black top pavement! Not very romantic. I am thinking of using a grass green aisle runner to create an aisle, as my colors are pink, lavender and green. However, that will only disguise a small portion of the ugly pavement. Also, some of our guests will need to be parking on one side of the exact same parking lot, because the hill will be too tiring for some of the older folks to ascend in the summer heat. I am desperate to hear any ideas for concealing the fact that my guests are standing in a parking lot, because I want the atmosphere to be at least somewhat classy and romantic. :)
