I bought a wedding gown last august. My boyfriend was going to propose to me soon, but he's not contacting me. I need a groom. Is there anyone who could help me with this problem?

Your a catch aren't you, OK was he actually your boyfriend yet? Or in your mind did you think ... I don't ... wait who buys a wedding gown BEFORE they are proposed to? Picking one out, designing it, yes. BUYING it, um hello men in the white coats, yeah she's over here.

You can always use it for a Halloween costume or save it, try a dating site.

I agree, she does sound perfectly sane :)

I am sorry this happened :( bummer. You probably scared him love.

This is actually a pretty common trend. A lot of women will go out and buy their wedding gown, if they find one they really like and can afford. They are not specifically looking for a wedding gown, but just looking at dresses, and find it!

That being said, you shouldn't have bought the gown with the intentions that your boyfriend was going to propose. You may have scared him off.

Why would you buy a wedding gown before he even asked you to marry him? Thats a little weird! Sell the dress on ebay or to some one who actually needs one & then just be patient & wait for a husband to come along! And believe me some guy will come along! And next time wait for him to actually propose to you before you start planning the wedding! I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

that's a big problem right there. when you mean not contacting you do you mean hes just not talking about ti or you guys are not together anymore? well if you don't have a guy then your gonna have to hold back on the wedding cuz you don't want a rushed wedding and you want it to be with a man that wants to marry you . just find a good guy so when your read then u can wear that dress and have the day you been waiting for good luck.

You could just sell it on ebay or something. Don't rush marriage. Wait for the right guy to come along. Afterall, do you think the man you marry would really want you to wear a wedding dress that you bought to wear for the wedding you were going to have with some other guy?!?

I think you need to put the breaks on for a minute and think about what you're saying ... you should have had a ring on your finger before buying a dress. There is no reason to rush into marriage ... most who do won't survive it and there is nothing worse than ending things in a divorce.

I have to say pretty risky move, Guys don't like to be rushed or pushed into something, more than likely you scared him off. he may have been saying he was going to propose to keep you happy and to get off his back

Why don't you propose to him? It was a big mistake to buy the gown before you had a ring on your finger. Try www.eharmony.com for a new man.

Send him a message that if he's not interested, then you're moving on. Then start going out more, to the gym, the library, even church, to meet the right guy.
