My husband and I are planning to renew our wedding vows. I am planning a second wedding ceremony for the occasion. Just because he said I could. I have a few questions considering this ceremony.

1. Can I still have attendants such as matron of honor?
2. Can I wear a veil with my wedding gown.
3. Do I have to have it in the same place as the original wedding?

Yes you can have as many attendants as you wish. I wouldn't wear a veil because those are really for new brides. And you can have it any place you wish. It doesn't need to be held in the same place as the original. Have it any way you wish and anywhere you wish.

Oh, I think you are misguided here. A renewal of vows is not "another wedding"! Your first wedding was your wedding!
A vow renewal would just be a simple ceremony (at a church or other place), followed by a dinner at your home with your family and close friends. You do not wear your wedding gown, just a pretty dress. You could, however, recognize your original attendants if they will be there - by pointing them out to everyone.
Usually the vow renewal is done on the 25th anniversary, but lately more couples are having it done on the 10th or 15th.

you can have attendants, but it isnt necessary

a veil may be a little 'over the top' but if you just have to have it... a small one would be fine.... not the whole 'over the face' thing tho...
and no, you do not have to have it in the same place... you can have it anywhere... performed by anyone... since you are already 'married'

including family members is a great way for the 2nd time around.... our kids sang and read poetry and scripture during our renewal/wedding and family 'attended' the wedding party

i think of you're able to no longer be too shocked in case you come across only somewhat opposition there. no longer too many women would take excitement of their husbands wanting to do some thing romantic like re-new their vows in order that as that they might sleep with human beings. Kinda places a damper on the gesture. regardless of the reality that, each and each to their own! She must be thinking an identical ingredient yet does not know the thank you to concepts-set the subject count with you! you recognize your spouse greater valuable than all people so only you would be the decide of that. only beware that if she does not choose for the assumption then you definately will need significant sucking as much as do to get lower back in her sturdy books.

Yea, I still to this day do not understand the newest trend of renewing vows. Didn't you (or your folks) pay enough the first time for a wedding? Vows stand the test of time, just like your love for each other should.

Sweetie, you can have it ANY way you want it....as many or few people as you want, wear whatever you want, and have it at the location you desire. There are no rules and the only limits are the law, your budget, and your imagination.

Congrats! ☺

I am sorry but it's Tacky.
You can't redo it.
The renewal should be classy and elegant not a whole new puffy princess white wedding..... And please don't register and have your friends throw you a shower.
I lost a friend over this cause I refused to be in her "redo".
