Has anyone ever ordered flowers online at a wholesale store like costco or sams club? They have great prices, so I thought it would be a good way to cut costs for a wedding, but I dont want to regret it if they are crappy.

I got married earlier this year and today one of my close childhood friends passed away. Someone told me that I shouldn't attend funerals or even go to the cemetary up to a year after my wedding. Is there some sort of a rule about this?

My husband and I had a very small wedding (only my mother attended). I want to have a large party and invite all of our friends and family for our one year anniversary...We got married on July 8th so it will be easy to plan a 4th of July themed get together (barbeque). I want this to be a very casual get together, just time for our friends and family to hang out and get to know eachother and have a good time. My question is would it be weird to do the things that are typically done at the reception right after the wedding a year later? I.E. Wedding cake, father/daughter dance, taking off the garter, etc etc...

Is there a magic number out there? Of course the size will affect the cost, but on average, how much would a small wedding cost? Traditionally, who pays for what? If any of you out there have recently married, is there any advice you might have on where one can cut corners and where they shouldn't? What people notice and what they don't? Thanks!

I did not know my Mom until I was 13. She never cared enough to stay around. My dad raised me and my sisters.

I have never been close with her and recently she has done things that have been very hurtful to my sisters an me.

I am really torn here beacuse if I dont invite her i will probably never see or hear from her again.

Also, it's a second marriage for both of us, any suggestions for when we dance with our grown children? There seems to be quite a few songs that fit when it's your children who are the bride or groom but not the other way around. Thanks for your help.

Hello all!
My family has been invited to a friends wedding on New Year's Eve this year. Buy the time her wedding rolls around I will be about 3 weeks away from my due date. Hubby thinks it is OK to wear Jeans to a wedding when you are that pregnant. NOT!!!!! So, what should I wear? Any websites I can look at. Or stores to go to. I don't want to spend an arm and leg on clothes. I also have a baby shower the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas pictures, Christmas & the Wedding which I would like to wear the outfit to all 4 events. Thanks for the help

OK im a bridesmaid in a wedding (kinda a junior im 15) the wedding itself is going to be a country club... the rehersal dinner will be at a nice italian resturant ...not upscale but you get the picture... im not sure what im supossed to where... and another thing what do you do at the rehersal dinner? My fiance is going to India on a business trip next month.His dad & I don't like the idea of him going. No one in his company wanted to go to India expet my fiance and on other guy whom I think is a scum. He said every one in his company is affraid to go to India because of the bombing & stuff. But my fiance is so exited go. He got me all scared. Because he like to joke alot with me. Yesterday he said the guy who's going with him wants to go to red light areas because he likes south asian women & that guy wants my fiance to go along with him. I freeked out.Then he said he was just kidding. He will never go.But his co-worker does like to go to red light areas though & has gone to red light area in Europe when he traveled with my fiance acouple of years ago. My fiance is a good guy. My mom said even good guys can get tempted when they hang out with bad company. I'm of Indian origin & my fiance is white. I'm affraid of Aids in India. I want him to only think of me when he is out there.
