That a man has to spend two months salary on a wedding ring. I told mine I don't need anything fancy or expensive because he has one heck of a salary. I just want something to show he loves me and wants to spend his life with me.

What sort of gift should we present to them? He is 57, she is 35. They had a baby about a year ago but have lived together for at least 5 years.

My fiance and I both have complete households, including four children each. We don't need anything except extra rooms. We are going to remodel our attic into bedrooms for the boys. Gift cards from Lowes would be perfect. I need to know if asking for such items would be considered rude or tacky. I know immediate family and friends will understand, but it's the others that I worry about.

I am having gifts made for my Bridesmaids, and it will include an embroidered monogram of each girl's name. Unfortuantely, I'm not sure what order it goes in... Like, is it their first initial, last initial, middle initial? Or first, middle, last? If anyone knows, I would appreciate the help. Thank you.

After I ordered my wedding dress, my fiance and I decided that we were going to have a destination wedding for just the two of us. We want to do something cheap and not have a big package, but here's the problem. My wedding dress ties in the back. It's a lace up dress so I need someone to help me get dressed and I don't have the money to buy another one. What should I do???

I want a winter wedding, cream velvet cloak with fake fur lined hood. I do not want to marry in a church or in England. We will only be inviting both sets of parents.I do not like cheesy weddings or chavvy themes. We'd like something romantic and classy. Any ideas??

I'm one of the best men at my friend's engagement party. The other best man can't make it because he's working, while I just don't feel like driving four hours for a party. Of course I'll be at the wedding but is the engagement party really necessary?

I have a small tattoo in the center of my back, faling just above my bra strap. Also, I have a small tattoo on my left shoulder blade. I am getting married in the Catholic church. Does anyone have any ideas about dresses that cover these areas? I would like sleeves during the ceremony. Any ideas and links to pictures would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I found this posting on a website :

" Now I have seen and heard it on TV and even in BN that marrige is a joke. I say it's a lie and that Marrige takes hard work and must involve two loving people ready to give their all and neither cannot be out for themselves.Speak out all married people. "

I have read some of the responses people gave this person. I am getting married in april and would love to hear from people in yahoo answers.

thanks

I need one for my wedding reception next year so any ideas would be nice. I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

We need to find one in or near the Coral Gables area that is not too expensive.
The prices we've seen in the area are just crazy, but we are willing to go to the east Kendall area if it's close to the Palmetto so people can get to the reception site easily.
The reception is at a small hall in the heart of Coral Gables so we would like something that is not to far from the reception hall.

Thank you for all your help.

Are there any guys out there that could be engaged for a long time to a girl, have a wedding in the court, no ring, no white dress, one witness, no wedding gifts, no honeymoon? I think its funny that a lot of guys couldn't handle that. I mean wouldn't you want to save a buck or two and not deal with a girl with a bitchy attitude. I mean come on you just plan the day you want to get married. you get dressed, go to the court or where ever you get married take your vows, sign the papers and thats it. You go to work or you work on the living arrangment, if you are not all ready living together. some people are a little too ritualistic. I think a lot of girls dream about their wedding day, but once they become more educated they see the light and realize its not that big of a deal. I think its also society pressure into making girls think that their day is important. Its ashame when people have these large weddings and then get a divorce. marriage should be more important than a wedding.

Hi, I will be having an engagement party within the next two months and I want to announce my wedding party beforehand. I have five sisters all of whom will be bridesmaids. I have about five close friends who I would also like to be in the wedding. So is their a limit on how many bridesmaids a bride should have? Is ten bridesmaids too much? The wedding will be about 120 people and formal. Thannks
