Of course from all of the other answers you know about the wedding channel which is the one I used. But if you want one that is more fancy and allows pictures (of course you have to pay)

But here are two that I have found that are really great you get free trials so you can set them up and see what you think!! Here are the links:

I hope this will help you out a lot since you are going to have a destination wedding and all! This will keep your guests up to date with you and everything. Good luck and congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

theknot.com has them for free. You just have to register with the site and then you can create one. I have one and you can actually add pictures, and wedding information, and registries. It also has a guest book feature to allow people to leave you well wishes.Go to theknot.com and register. Then click on "my knot" and "create my wedding website". After you create it, it will then give you the url address you can give to family and friends. HTH.

Log onto "The Wedding Channel". They have a way to create your own weeding website. You can even send invitations out to people to visit the website straight from there. There is so much information that can be found and received off of this web site. I couldn't have done my wedding with out it. Good Luck to you.

go to www.weddingchannel.com
They let you set up a wedding website and you can order the little cards to put in invitations to let you friends and family know where you are registered.
Also, if your guests buy through the weddinchannel, and you set it up this way, a donation will be made to the charity you choose. It's a really nice way to tell your story and let your guests get some information about you and your fiancee...etc.

To set up a "real" website with your own domain name that you pick (a .com, .us, .net, etc) and enough storage and bandwidth for anything you're likely to do is typically about $50 per year.

I use edatarack for hosting, domain names can be purchased there as well. Purchasing them together from the same company makes it a little bit easier to set up. There are cheaper places to get domain names, though.

wedding channel offers free ones with a your name. (The actual link in the browser shows something different, but you can link to it by typing in your names however you want - last names / first names / whatever.)

It's really easy to set up and maintain.
