Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! There is so much great wedding music out there - are you looking for one song for the entire bridal party (including you) or do you have something else planned for your entrance? Pachelbel's Canon in D is beautiful, as is the Bach-Gounod Ave Maria or Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. You should also look into getting a wedding CD on Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com - they usually have a nice variety of both instrumental pieces for the processional/recessional and wedding vocal solos. If you're getting married in a house of worship, the organist or music director there may have some good ideas - and you should also check with them re any music restrictions, as some may not allow secular (popular or non religious) music during wedding ceremonies.

Traditional: Here Comes the Bride, Pachelbel's Canon in D, Beethoven's Ode to Joy from Symphony No. 9

Contemporary: Kenny G's The Wedding Song, Andrea Bocelli & Celine Dion's The Prayer, All I Ask of You from the Phantom of the Opera, David Foster - Water Fountain, Josh Groban & Tina Arena - I Want to Spend My Lifetime Loving You

Intimate & Personal: Choose from your most memorable songs as a couple

Well, I do not generally tend to care what any one else thinks so I am now not worried approximately that, however I am having handiest two songs, the processional and the recessional. I am having my marriage ceremony on the seashore so I will likely be plugging a transportable stereo into the sound approach they have got installed there and will likely be gambling two songs off a Michael Buble CD I have. I'm now not definite if humans will likely be ready to listen to them over the sea, however I'm hoping it's going to be best. I consider the major side of the rite is the vows, now not how the tune was once performed.

iTunes has Theknot.com Wedding CD relatively cheap. This is where I found all my ceremony music. If you have a musician already ask them for suggestions, they can usually play the song for you so you know exactly how it will sound.

Try the website www.theknot.com. There are chat rooms there that can offer unlimited information. They have different forums for different needs(ex: reception, the dress, flowers, music, etc). The girls(and few guys) on there helped me out more than I could have asked for. I know that this is an exciting and stressful time. Good Luck!!

I like the traditional wedding song "Here Comes the Bride." It's simple, classic and always sounds just right!
