I've been with my boyfriend for 7 years we have 2 kids together 1boy 1girl, he has picked a date but will not say " I DO" But i have looked up the Indian Laws and it states that if you are more part Indian you are already married is this really true.

You can't make somebody marry you. But by the state law in the United States after you have been living with somebody for 7 years you are technically married you just don't have the paperwork so you can't change your last name. I would just argue your opinions on why you want to get married. It would make things easier for your children as well. I wish you the best and hope it all works out for you.

If you have lived together for 7 years it is called a common-law marriage. This goes for everyone in the USA.

Then take him to someone that deals with this so they can tell him that he is already married. You should have not had children till you were married anyway. See what mess this causes!

NO !! IF U ARE WITH HIM FOR MORE THEN 2 YEARS THEN THEY SAY U ARE MARRIED. I KNOW WHAT OR HOW U ARE I HAVE 3 KIDS 1 BOY 2 GIRLS. AND BEEN WITH HIM 9 YEARS BUT NO GETTING MARRIED .I WANT TO HE SAYS WANT UNTIL 2008 I CANT WAIT THAT LONG.

you can't force him to marry you, you have two children together. You need to make up your mind which is more important a piece of paper that says you are married or being married to him in your heart...
