Me and my fiancee can't decide if we want to get married right after high school or wait until after college.

I’m close friends with a girl who I liked, so I told her 3 weeks ago. She responded by saying that she just wanted to be friends. But over the course of the last 3 weeks she has kissed me many times and we have cuddled together intimately a lot. I would say we act as boyfriend and girlfriend.

She rings me 1st thing in the morning and last thing at night, and many times during the day. She wants to hang out together each day. She has told me everything about her! We talk for hours. She says she wants to meet my family.

She still says we are friends. Says she has gotten hurt by her last two boyfriends not long ago and is scared of giving her heart away again. She still talks a lot about her last boyfriend who hurt her badly – Basically used her and then suddenly stopped all contact with her without explanation!

Does she even like me? Am I being played for a fool and don’t see it? Help please I'm really confused!

I would like to write my own vows for my wedding day but I have been told that writing your own vows takes away what God has planned for marriage i.e. the roles of the husband and wife and what type of life they are supposed to lead. Is this true?? Is there away aI can write my own vows and still incorperate the traditional vows without taking away from Gods word or is there no way wround it??

My fiance & I have never really fought? should we still do it. (we have been living together for 4 years and own a home together, so there wont be any significant changes in our life style once we are married).

I'm planning to give about $200. Is it appropriate to give cash or is writing a check better?

I want something that is unique and different...I am just not one of those "Better Homes and Gardens" people. Big bushy bouqets of flowers aren't my thing...Any suggestions? Oh...and they need to be as cheap as possible.

My boyfriend and I have dated off and on for about 3 years. We're now very serious. I've never talked to my dad about my relationships because I've never lived with him(I'm in my 20's). I'm wondering how I can break the news to my dad that I have a serious boyfriend and he hasn't really known much about it. What is the easiest way to keep him from getting angry?

I had my heart set on getting married in a church that I was baptized in and it's close to my family in Medford NJ. I know it's a little fancy area but when I called for the church price it was $1,400!! Now that does include everything including the flower which is only 3 arrangments, the music, the minister, the clean up fee and the runners... But does anyone else think that's high? Or it that normally? It's an all faith church, I don't really attent church.. I am catholic but I am not confirmed and I don't want to take all the classes to get married catholic but I still wanted to get married in a church. Any suggestion for other churches? Or is that a standard fee?

My fiancee and I went, and we gave them $200. Couldn't afford it, but we didnt' want to seem cheap. We also live in the NYC tri-state area where the costs of weddings are a WEE bit more than most other places.

I hope I wasn't being "cheap"!

Opinions?

Thanks in advance!

My college roommate is getting married, and her mother is paying for a lot of things the bridesmaids should be paying for (our dresses, hair & makeup (I think), a spa day the week before the wedding - nails, facial, etc). We've tried to pay for these things ourselves since that's the norm, but she won't let us (She's Filipino (sp?) so we wonder if it's her culture that drives this). Anyway, we REALLY appreciate it, but we'd like to get her a REALLY nice gift to show our appreciation...we just don't know what to get her since we don't know her very well. All we know is that she's got expensive tastes. Any suggestions?

My Maid of honor told me last night that she is pregnant with her 2nd child. When pregnant with her first she got big fast...Last week we had our fittings, and the women fitting us said remember that these dresses can be taken in but not taken out! When my maid of honor tried hers it was a lil snug..we thought she had just gained a couple pounds but now that we know she is pregnant.. i know she will never fit into her dress in 2 months for the wedding...she is in denial..as always she thinks she will stay" skinny" I would try to order her another dress but it is not in our budget or hers..she doesn't work. I don't know what else to do.... Also she has been very frustrating during this whole wedding planning....She is one of those friends who has to always be in the spot light, and is trying to make my wedding about her...for example my bacherlette party..she made a guest list of all her friends that i don't talk to..and people she knows but i don't...what do i do??
