Most everyone prefers Spring weddings because it is suppose to be NEW beginnings sort of season. Hence, the Easter egg hunt, symbolizing the new birth of something.

Personally I have always LOVED the new FALL month of late September early October. What a great time! The crisp feeling of change occuring with cold in the air and leaves falling to the ground. It gets me so happy and excited during this earth transformation of the Fall Equinox.

Plus it would be a good celebration of your anniversary before the other great holidays of the year end ....Halloween, Thanksgiving and then the Winter Soltice.

My girlfriend and I both agree and plan on marrying in this time of the year!

The spring and summer months are the busiest wedding months, and therefore the most expensive. Fall is second behind that. If you need to save money, get married in sometime between January-March. You can get awesome discounts! The only way I'm able to afford my January wedding is from all the great discounts I've gottan. Flowers, photographers, location sites... You could do it in a winter theme. It'd be beauitful.

I think you should get married in September because the weather is warm but not too warm plus everything looks so nice at this time of year. Your pictures would look great outside by a tree with its leaves changing colors. Good Luck with your wedding and the future with your husband.

It depends on where you live. I'm getting married in January (I live in New England and it is beautiful when there is snow on the ground). If you have no particular fave time of year then think about if you want a theme wedding or the colors you like and plan accordingly. Congrats and good luck!

Congrats!! I do not think that you should pick Feb that is for sure or any other month where big events occur like Xmas thanksgiving or Easter. Try June, May, something like that. It also depends on what type of wedding you want. I do not like the heat so I would pick a month where the temperature is mild. Not too hot and not too cold.

Next March or April. :) Congrats btw. I got married engaged in July and married in March. It was the perfect engagment time. June is hot and sometimes it gets filled up VERY quickly. Depends on where you live though. Best wishes!

I'd like an Autumnal (Fall to you Americans) wedding as the weather is decent and the leaves falling and the beautiful colours would provide a stunning backdrop. I wouldn't suggest summer or winter as it might be too hot or cold!

Congratulations.

You can get maried on the month of your anniversary. That will be very meaningful.

Now, I heard that getting married in May is bad luck (trust me, I am living proof!), I read it somewhere, each month has different meanings, but they say that April, March are months that willl bring you good luck and prosperity.

Congratulations! Picking a date depends on what type of wedding you want. Do you want a theme wedding? What type of dress do you dream of wearing? Those things will make a difference in picking the time of year you want to marry in.

Congratulations!!

I love autumn, so I would suggest anytime from the end of September to the middle of November. I got married in October of '02 and it was lovely.

Good luck!
