Weddings - July 2006

I know this questions sounds immature on my part but I would really like to know from the experience of some divorced guys that remarried after a while.
I have never been married and my fiancée is divorced. As far as I know, he does not give much thought to his ex-wive but I keep wondering if he will remember on our wedding day that he already went through all this before and so on... Do you think it will be less special in a way since it is not his first time?
I know these are negative thoughts that I am having but I find it difficult sometimes to cope with a certain degree of "jealousy" of her..

Do you have to have a Unity candle?? And what is the tradition of it? I'm religious (very very) but I didn't want to have anything extra in the wedding unless it was something sacred!! So is this a necessity or an option?

My fiance and I are starting to plan our wedding. We have talked about different colors, and we both have decided on one color. The color is SAGE. It's a very pale pretty green, almost grayish. We are debating on our second color, we could'nt seem to find the right color. We wanted a yellowish color, like a pale one. But we could'nt seem to find that yellow color we were looking for. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Also, let me know some of your wedding colors. :], help me out a little bit ...

So I am getting married soon, and I will change my last name to my husbands.

The question I am asking is whether or not to change my middle name. Here is my dilemma:

I hate my middle name now. It is my mom's maiden name, and it is ugly and hard to pronounce. So my whole life I've had it, and I've always wanted just a normal middle name like "Ann" or "Jane" (not necessarily these, just for example).
So usually when you get married you take your current last name and make it your middle, with the new one as your last. But if I did this, I would be stuck with ANOTHER middle name that is really a last name!
I am afraid that if I change i completely my family will think I am disrespecting them, or trying to get rid of them or something.

Would it be incredibly wierd to just change it to something else?

Can you get married at the same time/place where you get the marriage license? I live in Ohio, and it's hard to find a judge to do it here. They are booking out to the end of September.

I have been with my bf on and off for 6 years, I told him about 3 years ago that I was ready to get married and he said that I need to wait because he had just graduated Grad school and he wanted to work and get a house. So I respected his decision and understood, that as a man he wants to be settled, before having a family. Now 3 years later I brought it up again, and he says he isn't ready, he says he hasn't saved up enough money (Mind you he works for a computer effect company, cushy job from what I hear).
He tells me that he knows we will get married, but just not now, but he says maybe in a another few years...but that would mean we have been dating for 10 years and I don't think I want to wait that long.
Furthermore, my parents are pressuring me to get married,I am 25 years old and in my culture we have arranged marriages (AM) and I don't want to marry a stranger. In addition to that my parents and I have an agreement, that if I get into Med school,I can postpone the AM. help?
