Weddings - July 2006

Okay, here's a confusing question. I want to have my sister as maid of honor, my sister in law and his sister as bridesmaids. He wants to have His brother, my brother, and my brother in law as groomsmen. The problem with that is that his my sister and brother in law have two kids together, my brother and sister in law have two kids together, his brother has three kids (he's not with their mom anymore), and his sister has two kids (she's not with their dad anymore). What do we do with all of those kids??? Our parents can't watch them all at once at our wedding.....HELP!!!

I'm getting married in October and have been trying to figure out flowers for then. I was going to use real, but I have recently made a bouquet of silk flowers that I think looks nice. My mom, however, thinks that silk looks cheap (even though 2 days ago she loved the bouquets I designed in silk...she must have heard it was 'cheap' from someone else). I don't think it looks cheap...although it is (not always though) a lot cheaper. And plus, they last forever (and you don't have to worry about them wilting before the wedding). I also have allergies. Here are some images of the bouquet I made. Does it look cheap or does it look nice for a fall wedding? I'm having this argument with my mom and I need some ideas. Thanks all!

I've been having problems w/ my platinum engagement ring. I've only had it for 5 years and I'm afraid that my husband got jipped when he bought it. It's now so bent (not from pressure but just from normal wear!!) that I was advised by the jeweler that sold it to me to just put it away and not wear it. She also said that platinum tends to fade in color and that it looks old before its time. Another jeweler has looked at the ring and says there is more alloy in it that what it should have...I need help! Is it possible that I'm being duped by the jeweler who sold the ring to us? How should I go about finding out if it's not 100%?

I am planning a 30th Anniversary for my in-laws. I am really excited about this and want to do this right. The problem is I am having problems finding websites that have 30th anniversary supplies. I find ones for 25, 40, and 50. I have seen that 30 is green so I would like to stick with this. A family friend is getting married this weekend and I was not invited. I'm fine with it...I know weddings are expensive and we're not that close and on top of all that I can't afford the types of gifts this couple wants.

My sister (a bridesmaid) decided to call this friend and tell her that I'm dying to come to her wedding now the friend thinks that I'm begging to go. My sister and I have issues because she wanted to buy a home together and I was cool with that until she went and got a realtor and picked out a house that we would be purchasing together all on her own without including me....I backed out (of course) and she's held a grudge ever since. I have 3 other invitations to other engagements this weekend (one of which is another wedding), if this friend sqeezes me into her guest list and I don't go, I'll be hated on and if I do go, I'll be putting myself in debt just to get a gift. my boyfriend and i were shopping around for some nice, but cheap wedding rings and need some more ideas. i wear a size 3 1/2 and i was set on getting one from walmart, but they don't make them smaller than a 5. (that's what the lady at the counter said.)
it seems like everywhere else i checked they are so expensive. i don't have much money to use for the rings right now, and i don't even like rings that much anyway, so i don't want to spend so much money on them that i will get buyers remorse...
we have a small budget and want to have more money for a honeymoon and trip to visit our families in Michigan.(we live in florida)
i tried ebay, but that is just a mess. there is too much on there to even find anything...

My wife is wearing an engagement ring in white gold, and her wedding band in yellow. She said it doesn't match. True. However, I believe the wedding band should be yellow (classic) and the engagement should be white (modern).

Howdy!
I have a Medieval themed wedding coming up in late September and I still haven't decided on flowers! I HAVE decided that I am doing beaded flowers in place of traditional fresh bouquets. I really love tiger lillies, and would like to have some of those in my bouquet, but what other colors/flowers go best with tiger lillies? Should I also have my bridesmaids carry the exact same flowers and colors, or different one's? I have no idea what the etiquette is as far as flowers go. Does my maid of honor carry the same bouquet as the bridesmaids?

This is the case...
One boy and girl r loving for 4 years. There is no prob in religion and caste. The boy has good respoect in the girl's house. He is like a family friend. Both r having good respect in their family. This girl is the last children of her family. The boy is the first boy in their family, has younger sister. The family depends him. The girl asked him to ask their parents for marriage. Both r 25.
