my boyfriend and i were shopping around for some nice, but cheap wedding rings and need some more ideas. i wear a size 3 1/2 and i was set on getting one from walmart, but they don't make them smaller than a 5. (that's what the lady at the counter said.)
it seems like everywhere else i checked they are so expensive. i don't have much money to use for the rings right now, and i don't even like rings that much anyway, so i don't want to spend so much money on them that i will get buyers remorse...
we have a small budget and want to have more money for a honeymoon and trip to visit our families in Michigan.(we live in florida)
i tried ebay, but that is just a mess. there is too much on there to even find anything...
so...what worked for you?

My husband and I bought our wedding rings off the internet at iweddingband. Mine was about $60 and his was about $80 and we have been very happy with them. They are 10k yellow gold and mine is a 4mm and his is a 6mm. They have worn very well in the last (nearly) four years. :) They only go down to a size 4 but you might could wear a ring guard. I bought my ring half a size larger and I was glad I did because after I got pregnant I went up half a ring size and stayed there. If you are concerned about it, you might could get it re-sized for not too much.
Good luck and congratulations!

Go to a store and find exactly what you want and then look for it on ebay. There are actual wedding stores on ebay that sell stuff for cheap. My fiance and I went to a store to look for a wedding ring for him. The one he liked - a plain gold band, was $300 in the store, $85 on ebay. Needless to say, we're getting his off of ebay!!! Mine was already bought with my engagement ring...

Try a pawn shop, they have a variety of rings and you can try different ones. Or just talk to someone about getting one made. YOu just have to keep looking. Remember also that your ring will last a lifetime. Keep it special. Special doesn't mean expensive.

Ohh yeah, congrats!

A very elegant, classic, beautiful wedding where both families helped us pay for everything...where we didn't cheap out. We made sure everything was quality and a year later, people are still talking about how great it was. Your wedding is a big deal - spend the money.

Titanium rings are quite inexpensive and frankly, quite beautiful. Try searching eBay for titanium rings. You'll find some that look lovely and are affordable.

Good luck!

if you know someone who works with tool and die equipment, they could make a set of rings for you. my g-father made my mom and dads wedding bands from stainless steel...won't rust or turn you green...they were very simple and elegant, and didn't cost a thing...and it is kind of special knowing they were made just for you.
