My sister is engaged and one of her friends had to tell me. She hasn't told our parents or anything. I don't know any other info either. What should I do?

My sister lives with us and her fiance stay the night all the time so I know him really well.

Lay low and pray she tells your parents soon. If she doesn't, you might want to let her know that the word is getting out, and she NEEDS to let your parents know. This could affect their willingness to help out with wedding expenses, not to mention that it's just flat out polite.

talk to your sister. find out who shes gonna marry and find out a little about him and talk to him if you get the chance. ask your sister how long shes been engaged. find out as much as you can from your sister. but dont come to her in a worried or angry way or anything, tell her calmly that you found out from your friend so on and so forth. I'm sure everything will be fine.

Try to start a conversation! about somebody proposing to you! and you don't know if he is the right one for you! with your sister, It should get her attention and she might just let it all out! Play Smart! And if you are already married or engaged that she knows about, Just tell her how much you love her and you just want the best for her! she'l talk to you!

Ask your sister about it, perhaps give suggestions. Its not your place to tell other people that she is engaged. There must be a reason she hasn't told certain people?

You should be calling her and asking instead of asking us! None of us know (unless, of course, your sister happens to click on this question), but hey, definately don't say anything to your parents/grandparents/anyone like that until you talk it over with her first. This is her news, not yours.
