Butterfly kisses - is a great father/daughter dance.
I had a song from John Denver that made me cry every time I heard it, before after and during the wedding (turns out I was pregnant and very emotional - but this was my 2nd wedding to my husband of 1 yr).

My dad and I danced to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole. We used the duet version with Nat's daughter, Natile. It was truly "unforgettable".
During the ceremony, just before my dad gave me away we had Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carslyle. Just so you know, it's a total tear jerker of a song. My dad listened to it several times before the wedding, but he still teared up when we played it.
Dance With My Father Again by Luthor Vandross is about death so you may not want to use it.
Say Good Night, Not Good Bye by Beth Neilson Chapman is a great song too.
There's a song by Stevie Wonder (I think) about daughters. I can't remember the name of it...American Idol contestants use it all the time..

I'm getting married this weekend.. and we are using "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carisle. Its about a father talking to his daughter on her wedding day.. you can't get more appropriate than that! Also "You're the Inspiration" by Chicago is another good one. Hope this helps!

I am getting married in October. I was going to choose between Through the Years (Kenny Rogers) or Butterfly Kisses. But I have decided on another one. I just recently heard a song called "I Loved Her First" by Heartland....you have to find this song and listen to it, it is beautiful.
