ok. the girl of my dreams just broke up with me because she said that she is not ready for a boyfriend just yet. so rite now we are back to being good friends. this crushes me because i like her a lot lot lot and care about her super lot! i think this could work out but she is not ready.. do u think she could still be my dream girl?? or should i just stay friends and keep looking?? i want to wait but i also dont want to miss any opportunities if she decides that were not meant to b. my heart is telling me to wait and be there for her wen shes ready but my mind is telling me to let go and find another girl. idk wat to do.... please help!!!!

There is this guy I really care about and recently I told him how I felt. He said he just wanted to be friends b/c he's not ready for a relationship right now. He has a music career and thats the reason why he moved down here to pursue it. So he doesn't want a relationship because between working a 9 to 5 and his music he feels he doesn't have time for a girl now. He wants to be able to come and go as he please and not feel guilty for not spending enough time with me. I understand what he saying and I don't want to stand in the way of his dreams. But I really really like him and I don't want to miss out on being with a great guy like him. So my question is even though I respect him and how he feels should he respect how I feel. Do you think we should try to be in a relationship and see where it goes? I'm ready to take a chance on love and I don't want any regrets or What if's. Should I sacrifice the time we spend together for him to pursue his dreams and other things?

I am considering breaking up with my boyfriend. We are going to first try to talk it out...but I told him that I would meet him somewhere. I get out of work in two and half hours and need ideas on where to go. I work near Oakbrook Illinois and live near Bridgeview Illinois (which is suburbs outside of chicago) but I am willing to go anywhere.

I might break up with him because i this is the third time i caught him lying to me about his ex's. They still call him, but there are other reasons why I want to break up. He is a financial burden to me because I always pay...and i have bills to pay...

Also because he is my first boyfriend and i have experienced everything with him. We dated for 2.5 years and im not sure if i love him any more...or just used to him. I need space...but he told me i can't date around or he wont "accept" me back.

Please help...anything will do. I dont know whether to go with my heart, mind, or my gut.

ok so i've known this girl a few years and in the hallway she is always going one way after 5th hour and I'm going the other way. She always finds me through the crowd and calls my name and I look and smile and say hey and she is looking at me intently with a big smile on her face. This happens pretty much everyday. I saw the guy I like other day for the 1st time in like five months at the movies. When I saw him he kept staring at me and blushing. Then at the end of the movie he was standing in front of me and staring at me/checking me out for a couple of minutes and the he just left. I'm not sure if he waiting to talk to me.His face was also red. The I saw my crush again 1 month later and he was blushing a heck of a lot. He also smiled at me and he raised his eyebrow. Plus his eyes got wide and he face got beat red when he realized it was me He also had some gleam in his eyes. i was walking home from work early cause i work near home and i was walking by a car in my parking space and i seen two people thru the window so i stop to see what they were in my space for. when i looked in the guy was on top of my girlfriend with her legs up. i banged on the window said you ***** and waited for them to do something they just looked at me with the doors closed so i just begin scratching **** into the car with my key and denting the car. i was scared like what the hell should i do. cop well not do anything. i hoped on the roof and was like your done woman but when i walked away i watch them and she hoped out and he left. she came up stairs and said she was sorry and i said pack get out im done. now she saying that nothing well ever happen again and shes done forever. i make sleep on the couch and trat her like a dog. i dont know what to do i locked her out but i pay the bills she has a name on the lease? let me know

I'm 16 and I'm very mature for my age.
I've been dating my b/f for a little over 1 year now and I feel that I'm ready to go to tha next level (sex)

Well my mom told me a while back that If I was gonna be sexually active with a guy that I need to at least have tha decency to tell her before I do this.

Today in class I finally talked to the girl I like. I said I saw her at the train station but couldn't say hi because she was on the other side of the tracks. I then asked what her name was and she told me, I then introduce myself. I told her that next time I see her anywhere I will be sure to say hi. She said nice to meet you and I said "you too" and class starts.

I sounded a little dorky because I was nervous but I did not shake. My voice was just soften and I smiled a lot. She smiled all the way. See also kept staring into my eyes. Was I successful even if I was kinda dorky for now? I was nervous.

My bf has expressed that he doesn't want an overbearing girlfriend. So I try to give him his space. I don't call him constantly - usually I wait for him to call me. When he's out with friends I don't bother him. I know that sometimes I get a little clingy, but I try to keep it in check. But something bothers me - he NEVER answers my calls. He usually calls me back within an hour, or texts me. I know he's busy, & try to understand.
Last night he came over, but couldn't stay the night. That was fine, but he acts like he's afraid I'll be upset. He said to call him at 10 this morning, & we'd do breakfast. I called, he didn't answer. At 1:00 I texted him - no reply. I finally texted him again at 4:30 and said I was worried. He replied that he's at work and will call me later.
I'm upset, & don't know what's so hard about sending a short text. What should I say when he calls? Do I have a right to be upset about this? Guys, do you think it's important to respond to your gf?

Was I stupid for letting my ex do this to me? Well I was 14 and he cam over to my house. It's been like a month since we saw eachother and school ended. My mom walk out the living room to her room and all of a sudden he looked at me. Then he pulled my shirt up and sucked on my nipple. I didn't do anything i was suprised and wtf at the same time. I know a few guy friends that have this notion that when girls are being nice and want their company (these girls are also in relationship complexes) that they have the belief that they can land these girls. So, I want to hear from both sides, guys and girls, any past experiences with this sort of thing. three questions
completely unrelated

1.) i'm just curious, why are there laws against gay marriage in most states in the U.S.? i mean, the whole reason laws are made is to protect us right? gay marriage isn't hurting anyone, so why are there laws against it?

2.) i heard that the war in Iraq is over, is this true? what have we accomplished from it?

3.) me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 3 months and we just thought of something... he will be turning 18 in 4 or 5 months and i'm only 15. will we still be able to date even though he will be considered an adult?
