What is a good present for my guy friend?

My guy friend is really cool and close. I want him to be a future boyfriend and theres a possibility but he has a girlfriend at the moment. I don't have a lot of money so i need somethign cheap. But I want a nice gift too that will make him think better of me but not offend him since he has a girlfriend. What should I get him?
