I feel the same way about #1- I have not heard nothing about#2- If you live in Michigan it will be against the law #3

1). This is a complicated question and, depending on who you talk to, you will be getting very different answers. The law to which you are referring, I believe, are the Defense of Marriage Acts, which define marriage as between a man and a woman. I generally fall into the "Live and let live" category, however there are people who believing that defending marriage IS protecting us and the fabric of society. That is the most common arguement I've heard.

2). Another toughie! I think at this point, most people would agree that, since we still have large numbers of troups on the ground, the war is not over. The question then becomes, when will the war be over? What is our definition of winning? If it is just removing Hussien from power, then we should consider ourselves done and get our troops out. Other people believe that a strong, stable, democratic Iraqi government would be a win, in which case the war is not over. As for what we have accomplished? Getting Hussien out of power is a plus, and beyond that it becomes too hotly debated an issue to get into here.

3). From your first two questions it sounds like you don't live in the US, which is the only law I know in detail, and even in the US is varies from state to state. If your boyfriend is eighteen or older and you are under eighteen you can date (there is really no way the government can prevent you from dinner and movies). However, sex between an adult(your boyfriend) and a minor(you) is considered statutory rape and can carry stiff penalties. I would recommend researching the statutory rape law in your country/state/province to make sure that you and your boyfriend aren't breaking the law.

Hope my answers helped

1. Traditional values made those laws; therefore, law says only a traditional male and female marriage is legal. Only certain states have the nerve and forward thinking to change the law for that state.

2. The war is not over in Iraq. I wouldn't even call it a war but a beat down. The "war" will continue until there is a safe way to pull out the troops. If all the troops are yanked out now; good chance there will be a lot of riots and bad stuff from the radicals still wandering about.

3. Technically it would be considered statutory rape since you are a minor. You can still date but if you're parents up and decide to be against it then they can call the cops and have him arrested.

1) Marriage is between a man and a woman. If the law allowed 2 people of the same sex to marry than the law would have to allow relatives to marry and it would have to allow multiple spouses and it would have to allow people to marry animals or electronic devices. Where do you draw the line? Marriage = man / woman ONLY.

2) I didn't hear that the war in Iraq is over, I don't see the troops coming home. Nothing was accomplished by the war except the death of a lot of people.

3) If your parents are ok with you dating your boyfriend and you aren't having sex then there shouldn't be a problem with it.

1. Well that is the law some people accept it and some people don`t. You can`t really change people views on gay marriages but that is just how the law is set up, I guess.
2. I never heard the war was over because it would`ve been all on the news if that was true.
3. Wow your boyfriend is turning 18? he is like 2 years older than on his b-day he would be three years older, he is too old for you in my opinion. But it all depends on your boyfriend whether he wants to date you or not.

I don't know why "gay marriage is illegal in most states!"

I don't think the war is over in Iraq. And I see no accomplishments of the war in Iraq. Except Bush is glad to get rid of Saddam Hussein because Saddam tried to have Bush senior killed.

Your boyfriend will be too old for you the day he turns 18.
You will be a juvenile and He's be an adult.

1.Unless you consider the aids and other std's it spreads. Because people don't use protection.
2.I can't really answer this question. I don't keep up with that stuff. I wouldn't think it's over because if it were, i'm sure it would be all over media in papers t.v ect. What have we accomplished> probably nothin. Just a bunch of rich guys bored finding something to do.
3.That would most likely be up to your parents. Hopefully for you they are accepting of him. Otherwise you may have a problem. Well good luck. Sorry I havn't been much help.

1.) The laws of the United States are based on religion. Due to that fact, it is against Christianity for Men to love Men and women to love women because that was not God's intention. If it were, all sexes would be able to procreate.
2.) Saddam Huissan is dead. The Iraqi people are voting and have more rights now that ever. That does not mean that there is complete and total order though. Our soldiers are staying to enhance the peace in that nation.
3.) Technically, yes but the only real way for that to happen is if one of your parents reports it. Make sure you have their blessing.

1. There are laws against gay marriage because we're human and humans disagree about things even though it's not bothering anyone and the other parties are happy.
2. The war isn't over and Soldiers are dying over there everyday. Keep them in your prayers.
3. Yes your boyfriend will get in trouble is you have sex because he is an adult.

Well..these are just my opinions.

1) Because President Bush is against gay marriage. He's letting his personal feelings/opinions/religion affect his decisions. I don't think he's taking into consideration how others feel about the whole idea.

2) I think it's over, but I don't think Bush wants it to be. I think we've done pretty much everything we can do. I don't really understand the whole concept of the war. Sure, Bush said it was because of Weapons of Mass Destruction. But, I don't believe that Iraq has any. But, who knows? The government is hiding so much from its people...there's probably another reason why our soldiers are overseas that nobody knows about.

3) Yes, you can still date. But, if you two are sexually active then your parents can press charges against him for statutory rape because you're not old enough to give consent to have sex. I'm not saying that they will...but it is a possibility. If you two are sexually active and your parents don't know about it, now would probably be a good time to tell them and find out their opinions. If you two are not sexually active, I still suggest that you talk to your parents just so all of you have an understanding.
