Singles & Dating - 17 October 2007

ok first things first, I know this is the wrong catergory to post this under. But I need some solutions ASAP and I know this is where the question answering people are.
Ok... My girlfriend just moved from the O.C. to SD, and it has taken her longer to find a job then she had expected. All her bills are stacked to the brim...
She now has three jobs, One she started a week ago (unfortunatly part time and bi-weekly) the second is also part time and she only started yesterday, with the third being a full time that she starts on friday. Having read all that i'm sure that explains the just of the situation. As much as I would love to help I am completely strapped myself. Can any of you money savey people give her any ideas on what she can do before she is burried with bad credit & late fee's etc. etc. etc.

im in college and my teacher is young, like 27 and im 19. I told her i cant write my test and she told me i could write it in her office. I saw her standing by a ledge and i grabbed her by the hips and was like "hey i need to write my quiz" and shes like ok. I spent a good 30 mins in her office just talking (and it should have taken 2 seconds). I told her she looks really young and that shes smart too. She told me she has a boyfriend and wants to have kids soon.

Do u think she picked up that i was hitting on her ?

for years i been finding an exuse to not take my own life as i get older i can see that its geting easyer .

I can tell am on barrowed time i worry what will hapen to my body and things I know for a fact am done its just a matter of time when and how .

i tryed everyting i gave it dosens of tryes am tyered i realy want it to end i can see its much easyer for me now

its just a matter of how.

I went to a night club to dance and meet people. A man asked me what I did. I replied that I was a substitute teacher and a FT student. He said I was too ambitious. He asked if I smoked pot. I replied I didn't. Later I spotted him dancing with a seedy looking, heavily tatooed, smoking woman that he ended up dating. I later heard her she is a HS drop out, her kids were taken away from her and she has a criminal record. That is why I stopped going to clubs. What is it with men's values in women these days?

I've been talking to a girl for a while and then asked her out. She agreed to it but then said her parents won't let her date anyone. She's 19 and I'm 20. We agreed to meet in town to go on a date to the movies. I'm just wondering if someone could give me advice here. She's an adult now and should be able to freely make her own choices but I'm wondering if I want to play mission impossible when dating her. She's nice and I really want to date her. So basically here's my question: What should I do here? Should I keep seeing her and see what happens? Can someone tell me stories of dating in this type of situation? I just want to know how to procede here. She said that if we begin to get really close then she will break the story of us to her parents I think to try to get their approval. I want to keep seeing her but I just keep imagining her father chasing me down the street with a baseball bat. Her father is strict and won't let her choose her own major for college. So I really really liked this guy, it was a non-stop all I could think about kind of a thing. Then he gets up the nerve to ask me out, and he's never had grilfriend before, so this was a big deal for him. I an com,pletley thrilled and say yes, so we've been going out for a week and he still hasn't held my hand, or cudled with me, or anything at all. And he as a person is starting to really annoy me. The way he pretends to care what I think then he doesn't actually listen, he chews funny, he acts serious at the wrong time in a conversation, and he gets really defensive about political stuff, like I'll say, "wow. She's 35, I'm 22) I had a older woman friend come over for the second time last night, and while I wasn't shocked, I was alittle surprised by her words and her actions. Now, that I got too know her I don't want any part of her, and most likely will never see or speak too her again( she's a family friend) But are conversation was weird because she started talking about having SEX with a 20 yr old in Mexico and how she has a 21 yr old and a 23 yr old right now... So, I know that her having 2 other dudes is gross, but i want to know WOULD YOU GIVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE? She even said she likes guys to TAKE CONTROL. I didn't. this all started around march when i noticed my girlfriend txting her friend alot (a guy) so one night i he sent her a txt when we where asleep from him saying talk dirty to me.... she swore she never did but i had feelings saying otherwise... she has lied to me b4 about small things and i think if she would lie to me about small things i think she would lie about anything.... well just a few weeks ago i found another txt on her phone from a diff guy saying: nice tit pic i want both nxt time.. and i adressed it to her and again i had a feeling she was lieing. im really confused and the more i type and think about the occurences the more likely it seems she is cheating on me. what is your opinion? and how should i adress this issue with her withought breaking up with her... i just want the truth

and he says he'll call you right back....but doesn't for an hour or two...so you text him...and he never texts back...can you pretty much assume he's a jerk? Do I have the right to get mad or am i overreacting? He'll probably say, "Sorry, I was really busy." What will I say back?

I'm coming out of a 16 year marriage and quite frankly, I'm just not into getting remarried. I dislike lying to anyone, but I feel terrible inside when I KNOW all I want is sex and friendship. I want there to be a connection, but I just don't want the responsibility of having to report to someone. I do not want to use or abuse a WOMAN's feelings/emotions, and I do want to care about her, but really, I just want someone to have sex with. SOMEONE means a WOMAN.

Quite frankly, I do not know how to respect a woman who is just in a relationship for sex. I feel like I'm sliding on a double edged sword.

My friend and i like the same girl (we'll call her sarah). we're both in high school and neither of us have ever had a gf. he said that he liked her when i was going after another girl. the other girl turned me down and when i got back to school sarah was in my class. i've been trying not to fall for her but i can't help it. she's pretty, smart, and mature which is a rarity for high school girls. i've been helping my friend ask her out but i just realized that i can't keep myself from liking her. i'm in a much better position than my friend to ask her out. i talk to her everyday and have her # while he only sees her once a week. my friend and i have been friends w/ her for a year.

The thing is that he will b pissed if i ask her out. i've known my friend for a LONG time and i don't want to lose friends but at the same time i want to date the girl that i like. i don't want to get into a situation where i have to choose between them. what should i do?

i have/had an amazing boyfriend. my parents are such irrational biased people though, that we arent even together anymore bc of them. i am 19, he just turned 20, we had plans to go bowling in his hometown tonight, that is max 30 mins away, bc all of his stuff is at his alley and bc he used to work there he can get everything for free. anyways i got home from work and ask my parents and they say no and chew my *** out for not respecting myself enough to realize that its "risking my life to chase some boy. " then they repeatedly called him names and told me im not allowed to see him anymore until he comes and talks to my dad, bc hes "risking my life by making me drive out to see him when hes just trying to save money.."..or thats what they think. i told him i dont know if he would want to be with me anymore and deal with this ****, and he asked me what i wanted and i told him to say **** my parents and be with you. hes the best guy ive ever met and doesnt deserve my psycho parents. HELP

Most of my life I have been with someone, or dating someone or flirting with someone. But now, I realize I have made some bad choices in relationships and I am taking a break from dating. So what may seem like a silly question, I ask sincerely, how does one be single and still find happiness? What do I need to do? How do I get an identity that is not wrapped up in a girlfriend?

I'm in love with my boyfriend. We have been dating for almost a year. Well, in three weeks, it will be one year. Sometimes we talk about it or say things like, "When we live together.." Not that we are planning on moving in with each other anytime soon. We are both in our first semester of our freshman year at CSU.
I believe that he is in love with me, but sometimes I just have weird thoughts in my mind because I have been hurt before and lied to. Once we were watching some show and they were having a wedding. He thought something about the wedding was funny and made the comment, "I'm going to do that in our wedding.."
He also bought be a white gold necklace with a pendant that has little diamonds in it. It's kind of spiraled. He bought it for my birthday. We had only been dating for five months. It's really beautiful and I wear it everyday. He was playing around, but he said he didn't want me to take it off for more than 45 minutes at a time, unless I'm swimming. :]
