well i broke up with my ex like a month ago but i cant seem to get over him. i know that he still likes me but he also likes this other girl. (my best friend likes her and she likes him) he said that if nothing happens between them then we would be going back out. but she keeps on flirting with him and my best friend........ should i sit and wait for her to choose, should take charge and go after my guy, or should i just go after some one else????? HELP!?!?!?!

I have a friend that I talked to about my strong feelings for her but that I could not date at the moment. We decided to stay friends. Anyway, things lately have been pretty strong between us, and I have been sending hints of interest. She said in an email that she loves our witty banters. She and her best friend love to make fun of me in a joking manner for a laugh. She really enjoys our conversations and really wants to get to know be better, and she wants to read my poetry! I also catch her eye a lot, and during dance class, we do a lot of unplanned handholding. How does she feel?

So I found out that i really like this guy. Hes cute and funny, nice smart athletic and pretty creative But the thing is, is that there are so many "popular girls" around him all the time making him a little tiny bit worse to hangout with every day. I keep telling myself "no you dont like him" but my core is telling me "yes you do like him!" And he has been flirting with me, so its driving me crazy. I tell myself i dont want to like him, buti do! what should i do? I know it sounds like I like him but, hes this really flirtatious guy and he loves to make people laugh, and i dont think its olny hes fliting with, its driving me crazy! Its like one second i feel like "wow hes so great" but then the next its like "jeez hes so obnoxious!" Any suggestions of what to do??

so i told this girl was into her months ago. but she said she wasnt looking for anything right now. we were good friends. and we hung out alot. talked on the phone alot. i gave her a bday gift. she gave me a bday gift. we see each other alot. even though she said what she said months ago. it felt like there was something. so i asked her. if there was still anything beyond friendship. i reminded her about what i said months ago. but she says she didnt mean to lead me into something more and just wants to be friends. i also gave her a custom card and chocolate on vday btw. anyway. so thats that. in a way im an idiot thinking there would be still some hope. what im question is how to deal with just being friends with her. which is impossible. if im around her. my feelings are still there. i dont want to hate her or avoid her. i dont know. but i know ive lost hope. im very depressed right now since i thought there really was something there but there wasnt.

6 months ago I met my friend...at the time he was only an acquaintance, but today he is a very special friend. We have lots of things in common and really strong connection. I never realized that our friendship would come to this level. He has made several comments about how beautiful or intelligent I am. We have gotten really close and I enjoy being his friend. The other day we were talking about something and I said “are you my twin brother?" and he said “lol...I hope not", and I asked him” ohh why not?" He was like “some things are better left unsaid"- in a positive way
Also he said he likes me but how do I really know whether he likes me as a friend. I have given some positives signs to him
So should I make the first move or just wait patiently?

i always wanted to ask: who should pay for the dating stuff, like coffee, moive tickets, dinner, etc?

yesterday a guy asked me out for a movie and when we stood at the ticket window, he said: you pay yourself or ?
i said: sure,i pay for myself.(of course i have to say that, right?)

damn! i feel like im not valuable enough to have a movie ticket for free..do i think too much and actually it's common? or i should stop seeing that stingy guy?

more common question: at the first beginning, guys pay for everything about dating?? how about the later phase? the two should split the bill?

anyway i want to know how you guys deal with the dating fee and how it works well without hurting each other's feeling and arising uncomfortableness.

i'm out of a 4 year relationship, my ex will get drunk and call me and want me to sleep with her, she always does this when i'm busy. I've seen her once since we have been broken up i wanted to sleep with her and she didn't want to. I had security with her, we have both been tested, and we didn't have anything so i felt safe. Anyway she humiliated me by telling her family that i threw myself at her and that she rejected me. She also told me that mean people find weak people to prey on, it seems like she just took advantage of me because i was nice. I'm so lonely now......was i wrong for wanting to sleep with her? we haven't slept together since we seperated. she is doing better than i am, at least she acts like it, i'm pretty tore up still.

ok I have been with my girlfrined for 7 mo now and i messed up the other day and lied to her 4 the 1st time.I felt as if something was wrong my gut was telling me something was not right. I asked her and she said she was ok other then a few things she was stressed out about family,school.etc. but nothing else.Well i did not feel as if that were the truth. awhile ago we had broken up for a few weeks because of the same thing,said she was going threw so many things she just needed a break. well during that break her x boy frend was textn her and calling her. I had been dating a girl for 2 years and she was really sweet one year and then the next she totally went bipolar on me, and then i left her. I really can't seem to get him. So here goes the short version.

A. We're coworkers. But I'd say we were pretty good friends.
B. When we are having a conversation with a large group he seems to keep all his attention on me.
C. He'll always accidentally touch me, or he won't move away from my touch.
D. He always hugs me. And he hugs me last, which in one of my guy friends opinion thats a good thing...
E. People think we are dating. Or say we should date. I've had people ask me if he's my boyfriend.
F. He always does the little things for me. He'll always grab my things.
G. He smiles a lot.

Right. So since he wasn't doing anything and since all the people who had responded to this question before said yes he likes you I took a big step gave him a valentine and told him I like you. Now, it's been what a week and he hasn't said anything about it. He was out of town for the long weekend. Anyways, yesterday was the first time we saw each other since I told him. I have been in a relationship with a guy for two months, though I've known him for quite a long time. I thought it was going so well and everything seemed perfect. Then he went out of town this weekend and came back Monday and broke up with me. I'm so confused. He says he's been thinking about it for a while and that it just doesn't feel right between us. Other than that he gave me no explanation. I thought everything was great. It makes me wonder if something happened this weekend... should I just leave it alone or demand an explanation?? I have a best guy friend. We have been friends for about 2 1/2 years. We started out dating and that didn't work so we didn't talk for about a year. Then, he called out of the blue and we started hanging out again. He wanted to me to meet his best guy friend (from CT we are in OH) and that night we ended up being intimate. We did that several more times. I finally asked how he felt about me and he said he couldn't find anything wrong with me but didn't know how he felt. So, a few months later (after not talking to my guy friend for awhile) I met a new guy. We were together for 4 months. My guy friend was very jealous. Finally, I broke up with my boyfriend and started hanging out with guy friend again. He told me I excited him and put my hand in his lap! Now, I have made comments about doing stuff and he is avoiding me. I can't get over him and really love him. What should I do?
