None are a guarentee but there are plenty out there. So take your pick. I think Cupid is about the only one that does the whole speed date things. Lots of fish out there just choose carefully!

Well, I'm not exactly sure of what you are looking for in a dating site in terms of type of relationship (casual date or serious commitment). I found my fiance on e-Harmony.com. I wasn't even looking for anyone. I only wanted to take their free personality profile to assess my personality, and it automatically sends you matches of people whose personalities, interests, values etc are very similar to your own. You can't communicate with these matches or view their pictures (you CAN view their profile) until you pay for a membership, but the odds of finding someone compatible with you are very high, out of the matches they send you. They are high because THEY choose the matches they send to you. You don't choose. They choose based on your profiles and send you someone who has a similar profile to yours. Once you see the matches they send you, then YOU choose who you want to communicate with. My fiance and I are so compatible in so many ways and from the very beginning, it was as if we have always known each other. I highly recommend e-Harmony.com if you are looking for a serious commitment with someone. If you are looking for casual dating with a high possibility of finding many matches, then I have heard from many people that Match.com is good.

I've met people from American singles, match, love happens, criags list, and eharmony. Met my bf on match . . . However, there are no guarantees in life!! I don't know of any speed dating sites.

I have been using cupid.com and have had pretty good luck. They do have the speed dating events. I have also been told match.com is pretty good to! Yahoo has a singles board too.
