i like a girl and i'm way to shy to see if she has a bf. and if she dosn't i'd like to ask her out, but once again i'm too shy. another thing is i'm not the hottest guy out there.

Are you friends with her? Looks aren't everything but they are if she doesn't know what your personality is like. I would maybe ask one of her friends or someone else who knows her if you are too shy to ask her yourself. If she doesn't have a bf you could try getting to know her and see where things go.

Just ask her! Although it will seem very awkward at first, she will understand and think it's sweet that you're making sure she's available before making a move on her. Or, you could just ask her out and see what she says. If she says no, that probably means she has a boyfriend already. Although you might not be as hott as some other guys, it'a totally fine, because my guy isn't the hottest guy out there either, but I like him much more than any old hott guy.

You sound so much like me when I was in school.
I recommed just asking her to a movie. If she accepts, you've got a pretty good chance. If not, that would give you an answer that isn't too painful. It was only a movie date and not a confession of you feel. That should help you feel a bit more "safer" to ask her out.
But if you can't do that...Here's what I did...
Find out her locker number. Drop her a note saying how shy you are and sign it with YOUR locker number and ask her to reply by dropping you a note.

Even if you are not "the hottest guy out there" you have to act like you are. The key to getting any girl you want is to believe in urself and have the self esteem of "the hottest guys out there"! Trust me. Its one thing to be shy, but another to not believe in yourself.

Confidence is everything. Just go ask her if she'd like to have lunch with you sometime. Get to know her a bit. Make it all about what SHE wants. Chicks love that. Besides, if you start innocent (lunch) she might say, that's would be nice or Oh, I'm flattered but I have a bf. 2 birds, 1 stone, no harm no foul.
