We live in separate states. I am ordered to pay support but have no way of contacting him. His girlfriend gave me a bogus number at the hearing. My husband was married to another woman and they have two teenage boys 16 and 17. They divorced 5 years ago in which she kept his last name all this time. Well she recently married and she still kept my husbands last name she just added a hyphen to it. Example: Kathy Rocksford-Gimbrone. My husband is having a fit over this. What can we do. My husband spoke to the oldest son about this and he thinks it is wrong. Please help?

I am so tired of the silent treatment. He is so moody and gets mad over the littlest things....sometimes over nothing at all...and when I ask "what's wrong" I either get "I'm fine" (when clearly he is not) or he doesn't talk to me for days. Not one word! It's even quiet in BED! Lately I have chosen to cope by ignoring him in return, and by the time he might feel like talking, then I'VE got an attitude! We're not married, but we've been together for 18 months, and living together for the last 8 months. I am sick and tired of this game. If he can't talk to me about what's bothering him, then we will NEVER be happy! How do I get him to communciate??? This is so FRUSTRATING.

I don't have the greatest self-esteem. My husband tells me all the time how much he loves me and how beautiful I am, and I can tell that it bothers him when I don't see it. and if you are a girl or guy with a low self-esteem then you will understand that it's hard to belive them. Yesterday my husband and I heard a noise under my car. It sounded like a small whip hitting the pavement. He said that it looked like one of my tires was balled. I asked if we could get a new tire while we were in town. He said that he wasn't sure what the noise was and needed to take a better look at it. Shouldn't we still replace the tire though? Mom said I could have a blowout. That was my concern too, but I am nervous to say anything to him because he tends to always get defensive and tell me that he knows more about cars than I do. He told me yesterday that he has driven on balled tires before. I suffer from depression a lot and so it is hard for me to tell if this is just an anxiety thing, or if I am right to be concerned. I don't want to upset him by talking about it. He hurt his foot at work last night and I don't want to upset him. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't take care of me right when it comes to the safety of cars..maybe it's just me? Thanks everyone.

i know that my bahamas marriage is legal (at least there) but i don't know what i need to do to file here in ny. i went to my town court and the woman (who wasn't very nice!) said that i don't do anything. i feel like there must be something that is required to ensure that my marriage is recognized in the state. has anyone out there gotten married on an island and what did they do when they got back home?
