In this day and age people rather run when the going gets hard. There are things I don't think that can be worked out and that revolves around domestic violence. Then it is better to run and not look back. I feel that some people are not even ready to be in a relationship it is a job you have to do 24 7 to make work and you both have to give 100%. To me you have to be there when the going is tough it always gets better. There is nothing that is perfect everyone makes mistakes. Everything can be saved if there is love respect and honesty!!!

I think it is hilarious that people think it is easiest to walk away. I think in most cases people do not walk away or stay and make it work...they just continue the dysfunctional relationship as-is.
I hear people say about my parents, "I cannot believe they called it quits after 28 years". Sooo funny. They called it quits after about 3 years, they just didn't bother to make it official until my little sister was getting ready to leave for college.
Yes, I am married now and happy, but I know not everyone is and I know that it is NOT usually true that what is needed is a little more effort.
What is needed is a time machine to not make the mistake in the first place, but if that's not an option, they need a divorce attorney.

Yes, i do think it's easier for people to walk out of a relationship rather than stay and make it work.
Walking away is one of the easiest things to do in this world.
A lot of people just don't want to deal with the pain and sadness and anger. They don't want to deal with the issues. They just want to walk away as if they'll find someone else who they won't have any issues with. But that's not true. There will be issues (whether big or small) with anyone you end up with. It's just how you choose to deal.
So in conclusion, yes... most relationships could be saved with a little more effort.
And after really trying to make things work but there's still something missing, you know it's time to leave.

Its always easier to walk out of any relationship becuase it doesnt require time and effort to do it. And thats why some prefer to do it instead of placing more effort into saving a relationship especially if they know that it would still end up being the same, that is, the end of the relationship.

It is easier to walk out.....It's the cowards way. If it's boyfriend/girlfriend and you find things that you don't want to live with walk away. If you are married, you better stay and fight.
A little effort goes a long way.
Too many people want the easy way without the hard work. It takes WORK to make a relationship. Work you have a masterpiece. Don't work and you have crumbs.
It ain't easy but when is anything easy? I am hard to get along with and I am proud of my husband for putting up with me and my stuff. Sometimes I feel sorry for him.

I know from experience. My other walked away like it was nothing. She put no effort in staying together, instead she found little things to start fights over to make the relationship seem terrible. I tried, that's all you can do (to a certain point).

I agree with Sarah, for some people its much easier to stay than to leave (but not all ). Change is often more difficult than continuing with what u know, its often scarier too. most of us are willing to stay with something that is just average, than to throw it away for a chance at something better, because we're more afraid its a trade for something worse. I, however, believe we are given only one life to make the best out of, don't waste it, always try to get the most out of life. You know if you have it now or not, if its not there, it won't ever be. If it's there hold on for dear life. If your not sure if it's there - it probably isn't.

Yes, it takes a lot of effort but would be worth it in the end. Many people are anal, set in their ways, and refuse to change. Sometimes we need to change to become better people anyway. If we would just talk things out with our partner and compromise then we would all have better relationships. Sadly, people have lost their communication skills or were never taught them in the first place.

of course its easier just to walk away. people dont like to deal with their problems so they just give up. and i definitely think more relationships would work out if people put in a little more effort. sad but true.
