I am married to the most wonderful lady in the world. It has been over 11 years now and it only gets better each day! We both make a positive effort to be happy, do things for each other because we want to and keep the spice as well as the romance in our lives fresh. If two people are truly in love, they will do these things willingly to make their marriage wonderful.
Good question

We're in counseling.
After 16 years, so much can build up...little things become big.
We have a great life & we still have love, what we want is a wonderful marriage. We want to be 'in-love' again.
Check back in a few years for a more complete answer.

for me it is. he tells me how much he loves me and says it everyday several times a day. what also makes it wonderful for us is having our first child together. we were very surprised because of becoming a cancer survivor and being told he wouldn't be able to have children. by no means is our marriage perfect, but having the man of your dreams telling you that he would do anything for you and making you feel like you matter the most in this life is absolutely wonderful.

my marriage is pretty much a sham and has been for 3 years. We dont communicate, we dont share any fun activities..well maybe 2-3 a year. We're like roomates that get along well enough, but that's it. I want so much more from a relationship, but she just doesnt seem to understand what im looking for, and doesnt seem to want to try to understand it.

Yes we have a wonderful marriage, we have been married almost 7 years. I get very moody but he just tells me that he loves me and everything is gonna be ok, and we work though it. Don't get me wrong though we have had our ups and downs. But though all of that I love him so much and I believe he loves me.

For me, marriage has its ups and downs. When we're both making an effort to be nice and understanding of eachother, it's great. When we're crabby and critical, it can feel pretty bad. It's all about attitude.

Happily married for 17 years and I believe the secret is respect, communication (and knowing when NOT to communicate) and a healthy sense of humor.
And having only one child.
