He and I have been together for 18 years and when things are good they are great, but lately he has been verbally abusive. I really do love him with all of my heart and soul, but now I know it's really time for me to let him go. I have made an appointment to see a therapist because I feel like a part of me is missing. He always wants things his way, and most of the time when we argue he always makes it look like it's my fault. He breaks dates and then he gets an attititude when I express my view on the issue and try to make it look like its my fault! If anyone has really been deeply in love, please help. Thanks again for taking the time to read and give your perspective on this issue.

The teenage son wants to stay with them for the school year. He is 14 years old, his mom lives in N. Carolina. When he is in North Carolina, he lives with his stepdad who is separated from his mom. He sees his mom on weekends.
We are in California, how can my friend get a temporary order so he doesn't have to return before the hearing? How can they get a hearing? Are they going to have to pay for a lawyer? He has been here 4 weeks, and Mom agreed to a visitation even though it was not in the court order. He will be here 6 weeks in August before he leaves.
Your help is much appreciated! Thank you.

I'm attractive, loving, loyal, and I'm very spontaneous. Why does he keep doing this to me. He isn't open and honest. And he's very much hooked on Porn. When he leaves he comes crying back. Sometimes he's gone for months.

I have been a stay at home mom/housewife for the last year, and I really love it, except for the fact I have no time for myself. My husband enjoys the outdoor life especialy FISHING, and he is gone every single weekend out with his friends fishing, hunting, camping, etc..while I am at home with the kids. My social life has gone to nothing. It is a big job trying to get the kids ready, and me and then just the fighting with them when where out like at walmart or something I just assume to stay home. If I ask him to watch the kids while I go out its hell what I have to go thru so I just dont ask, and If I try to talk to him about how I am feeling he just says stuff like you should be happy dont know why you ant happy, but he really just dont understand, how can I make him understand that I need time to myself every now and then, because of this I am getting really depressed, and he seems to dont care>>>>>>

How do YOU clean up the after sex drainage? I make my husband wear condoms just because I don't want to deal. I swear I could take a shower right after and still be draining hours later. It's sooo annoying. any suggestions.

My boyfriend and I have lived together for a year. We are getting married in 2 months. The problem is his daughter is giving him a hard time about it. She lives with us and I do a lot for her and she's nice to my face, I think she likes me. She never says anything to me, it's when they're alone. She is very bossy and I actually think she thinks she can talk him out of it. I know she can't, but I just don't understand why she can't be happy for us. She knows this is the most important thing in the world to me, so why is she doing this?

I am a 34yo male who has been married for 8 years. I have a degree in electronics, but I have been working in software for 8 years. I make about double what my spouse makes. We own a nice house, truck, camper, boat, etc. Everything is paid for but the house which is reasonable. We spend our money on dining, trips, movies, etc. We have no children due to fertility issues.

Problem: I hate my job. About two years ago, I started yearning for a new job, but the wife always complained when I mentioned that I would probably make much less than I make now. I am very unhappy. She will not consider in vitro or adoption. Having children is a must for me. I have asked for divorce twice so I could get control over my life back. We have been in counseling together and individually ove the last year. I am sad and resentful and keep thining about life on my own.

I don't want to play anymore and wanted to ask the world what a guy can do to cure his midlife crisis before I make a horrible mistake.

We have been together for 5 years, with a short break of two months. (I have had on and off depression, and am now on light meds which are helping. I think my depression comes from sometimes feeling confined by the relationship, not having a solid, confident sense of self, experiencing ups and downs of the world individually/independently, and wanting to listen to my inner self and follow where it leads me in this world, which I have trouble actually doing - what led to the short breakup was to help with this) Anyways, my question is: we are supposed to get married within the month - IS IT ENOUGH CAUSE FOR CONCERN THAT ONE PERSON IS DEPRESSED TO CONSIDER POSTPONING A WEDDING??

Hi, I got married last October and my husband and I were so in love. We immediately after getting married had some financial problems ( He switched jobs from being a welder to a car salesman (100% commission) and couldn't seem to earn any money. I picked up the slack on all of the bills and really tried to make things work, and to give his new career a chance. After being at one place a while he quit, was unemployed for a little bit, and then went to another dealership but we had the same problem. Well he ended up quitting that dealership and even though I was stresed over money and bills, my main problems with him were his lack of motivation so I will admit I did try to motivate him. Well in the past month he has become really distant, and cold. He used to write me love letters and was completely the opposite. I told him that if he didn't make me feel wanted in my own home, I would leave. I did and have been living with my parents for the past week. It has been hell. He just

You have 1 bottle of water. You could make it to a pond that is 25 miles away with it. Your spouse would not be able to make it if he/she had the water "too far for them" and there is no time to go back to him/her. What would you do with the bottle of water?

I know what I would do. Do you know what you would do?
