You have 1 bottle of water. You could make it to a pond that is 25 miles away with it. Your spouse would not be able to make it if he/she had the water "too far for them" and there is no time to go back to him/her. What would you do with the bottle of water?

Drink about 1/4 of it and then go and leave the bottle with him. And try to figure out some way to bring some water back so that he could make it to the pond.

Take the bottle with me, and drink along the way. Get to the pond, drink my fill again and then refill the bottle and bring back to my spouse.............

I'd give it to my spouse. He would need it much more than me, and at least I could try to make it to the pond and back, so long as I took my time and was careful. All that would matter would be his life and safety. Not mine.

I would not be in the desert because I hate the heat.
But, if I was hypothetically there I would smack them over the head with it, tell them to stop whining and head in the direction of the pond with it.

Id tell my Husband to buck up and be a marine, and quit his ******** winning!!!!! Then id give him the water becuause i could make it without if it meant we both lived!!!!!
