When my ex had custody she claimed both out minor children as dependants. However in March she gave me 50/50 custody because her BF doesn' t want kids(we had been informally exercising such an agreement since Jan, however it became official in March) We have split the time with me having the kids every single weekend, plus me having them the month of July, and extra days. Now, she is giving me full custody and she only wants them one time a month, however she wants to continue to claim them as dependants for next tax year. I feel this is an unfair situation as she was able to claim them when she had custody. I only asked her for about half the support that GA law says she should be paying so that will be about $300, and she will rarely even be seeing the kids. When she had custody I paid $1500 in support had themAT LEAST every other weekend, and she got to claim them for taxes.Who should be the one to claim the kids under the new arrangement? I think we should each claim one this year

Hubby in jail for "touching", told him I would stand by him no matter what, still plan to just not as wife, have been honest about BF relationship, but he is pulling away from me and our son. Says he's given up, has nothing left to come home to, even though we have been together for 18 yrs. Still love him, but cant deal with all the hurt and lies he told me. Says divorce is up to me, but I'm scared that if I do he will stay away from his son, too, and I dont think that is right. Son has been through enough with this whole thing. I dont want to hurt anyone, but I cant keep hurting either.

My soon to be ex has a habit of lying just to cover up whatever nonsense he is up to. Been cheating me a couple of times too and when confronted, still comes up with pathetic lies. Why cant they just tell the truth for once?

Okay I asked this yesterday so sorry for repeat question. Everyone said a rush of emotions with a sord of scared feeling was an anxiety attack because of my stress and pending divorce but failed to see the first part of my question when I think of someone else I can't see at the moment NOT my ex.

Is it still an anxiety attack?

I have been married for 9 years. My husband has partied for many years, leaving me and his kids behind. I have caught him is some very weird circumstances with one of my girlfriends/ employees, which he finally admitted to trying to pursue her. Says he was in lust w/ her. She also, married and says she didn't think anything of his flirting and so on. Longer story, but for now. I have slowly been falling out of love him and I don't even enjoy having sex with him at all. If I do give in he treats me like nothing for 3 days, then he's sweet as pie until the next time, then nothing again, gets old. He truelly looks so happy drinking and hanging out with his friends. he drinks swears and talks crap and seems truely happy, then when he is with me and our kids, he lays around and only participates if I complain until I am so fed up, then he kisses my butt. I do honestly think about what it would be like to meet someone that likes time with thier family and not always have to beg for i

I am very seriously thinking of separating from my husband. History long to sumarize. We both care for each other but live like brother and sister. We have two children (12 and 9). We have a very unbalanced financial situation (most assets under his name). He is extremely busy with work, so no time to waste on personal issues. Been together 20 years. Sex life quite miserable. We both know what fatal attraction love means (but we did not live it together - I mean, I was attracted to him, but him not to me). He has lots of qualities but, like anybody, not easy to live with. In his case: tensed, cold, rigid, "emotionally handicaped" (? :-) ).
If you were that guy, but also just being a man, what is it you want to hear, not hear, when your wife suggests separation is the best way forward?
(U need to know he suggested separation 4 months ago, but I refused, still hoping we can make this work. In the meanwhile his mid-life-crisis affair ended and he has not taken any clear line). IDs? Tks

Older men date younger women all the time and they are looked at like they have won an olympic gold medal. Older women who date/marry younger men are called cradle robbers? WHY? Plus what age difference is considered to be to much?

I have been married 17 years and have 2 children.

I found out last week about an affair my wife had that began about 8 years ago and lasted about a year. I asked her and she admitted it to me. It all began on a 'girl's weekend' and continued during subsequent girl's weekends. I knew that something was going on at the time but accepted her explanations and denials.

We separated 5 years ago and got back together after a year. She knows I dated while we were separated. She told me that she did not date.

I found out about her affair on a Friday (a week ago) and was extremely hurt. The following Monday she asked me if she could go on a girl's weekend with the two girls that she went with when her affair started. I told her that I didn't think it was appropriate because they OBVIOUSLY accepted her behavior [affair] as they were there when it began and while it continued. One of the other girls is divorced and now living with a guy she met on one of the same "girl's weekends."
