Marriage & Divorce - 9 July 2006

i told my husband as he was putting a load of clothes in the washing machine that I was shaving my *****(the bathroom is near the laundry area), i was in the tub. He grunted something inaudible and went back to the living room to watch a ball game, never came in the bathroom, never replied........am I just too sensitive or is he too insensitive?

My ex leaves messages on my home and mobile phone voice mail as well as texting horribly insulting, at time sexually expicit, always belittling messages. Obviously, I know it is wrong and needs to be stopped. His behavior and thought processes are so delusional at times that it truly makes me fear for my own safety. Very Scott Peterson like. I can not get a restraining order I was told unless he does something that would warrant a police report. What are my options? Remember that I am not dealing with a person who is able to make good choices on even a semi consistant basis.

I have been seeing this man for a 4 months. He is still married to wife no.4, he doesn't have the money yet to get a divorce but he hopes she will. She moved to another town and she calls once in a while wanting to get back together but he never answers and calls her a *****. He said it was her fault that she left him after she tripped and tried to blame it on him. I know a mutal friend who happens to know this lady's family and they said she came back all bruised and hurt from him. Now I am wondering what to believe. He is in his 50's and has young childrren still living at home and he still takes the advise of his mother, this has bothered me alot, but the thing of it he has told me he loves and wants to marry me as soon as he is divorced. I have not told him I love him as he is moving fast for me plus at my age I am not sure how I can deal with children that age. I seem to care for him but wondering now why so many wives and he says they all mistreated him. Could this be true?

Husbands, Do you think your wife should be able to go out all night and not answer her cell phone or call to let you know what's going on and what have you done about it if they have?

my husband works graves, I have a day job that I can't stand. I come home to a little baby who goes to bed about an hour after I get home and my husband is off to work. So I'm alone most of the time. On the weekends my husband sleeps both Saturday and Sunday my only free time. We only get a few hours together? I love my husband and baby but I'm so lonely. My husband can't change his shift and I am just dealing with it. any ideas?

he just got this account on myspace.com and i got mad cuz i told him he doesnt need a messanger to find new friends...he said he just want to see if he can catch some old friends...YEAH RIGHT im not stupid. Before I got married I had bad experience with men. my ex boyfriend beat me, and always accused me of cheating, verbally abused me ect... everything bad. So i finally left him, and my father was a drunk.. and my mom and dad left eachother when i was 13 years old. He used to verbally abuse me and hit my older brother (step son) So now in my marriage... I don't trust me husband. If he doesn't answer his phone all these thoughts run through my head that he is cheating, or that he doesn't want to be with me when he doesn't touch me, or have sex with me. He doesn't denie it anymore when I ask him he just says okay whatever.. I think he is cheating on me... I dont know tho. I have problem with him talking to other girls, looking at other girls, ect. He knew about this before we got married that I had a trust problem.. so why should this be anything new to him?? Everytime I get jealous I just say lets get divorce even though I don't mean it. please help!

I have been asking all sorts of questions to women and men. A lot of men stand up for women, bravo. A lot of women give good unbiased answers. Lets just assume for a minute that I have been to a DV class for men. Well what I found was that none of the 12 men in the group many in there 40's had ever been to jail. None of these men hit women either. I will give a few examples, one guy broke dishes, another punched a wall, another threw a cell phone at his drunk wife, another blocked a doorway, another called his wife a ***** and flipped her off in public. These men lost job's gained an arrest record had to do these classes and for what because they got angry, most did not even hurt anyone. So my question is why won't these so called feminazi women take blame for choosing this guy, take some part in blame for returning for more blackeyes, or secret beatings. I suspect that they want to put all the blame squarely on the big strong brute man. Women have to choose too. Any though

I just dont understand my ex-husband he is a dead beat dad we have been separated for almost 2 years and divorced for 1 he moved to Canada to be with new girlfriend because they started to garnish his wages and he has not helped me out. He has not even seen his kids in almost 2 years but he just had a new baby how can he just go one like he does not have these boys I try to keep a relationship between him and his kids but I cant its not my job he should do that. Our boys are 3 and 5 and he missing out on two awesome boys but that is okay because we are so much better without him it just makes me mad that he does not seem to care
