I am a minister, very much overlooked in the church body

that must be a tough descion to make, there are churches out thier that embrace women ministers.

If there really isn’t enough room for you at the current church – then why would your husband not support you being a minister elsewhere? Why do you have to “formally” leave the church? Working somewhere else should be an addition, not subtraction. You’d think he would be happy and proud of you. You aren’t giving us the full story – Either your husband is keeping you down, or you are a really bad at ministering, or you are trying to hurt your church/husband.

Your husband is the pastor, and your a minister? You don't say that your separated from each other,so why do you want to leave that church? Speak with your husband about it. Tell him why you are considering this. Ask his opinion

In our old church, they accepted the husband, who was a pastor, and as soon as he was "IN", he said, "Oh, btw, love me, love my minister wife who will be co-Head Pastor." Did they like it? NO. But what else can two kids do just out of seminary?

If you are a minister then I would think you would know the answer to your own question. Do what you tell everyone else to do that is PRAY ABOUT IT

this could wreck your marriage. Are you overlooked or not getting enough attention. Why would You want to embarrass your husband

Going to cause problems, but explain to husband & try not to take his congregation. If you do then the answer is easy - NO!
