Marriage & Divorce - 26 June 2006

I’ve gone through a lot of $hit in my life. We’ve been dating for 8 months and she knows it makes me uncomfortable knowing that she is dancing all night with other men; but she sees nothing wrong with it. She wants to go out dancing with her sister for the weekend. This makes me so sad; I told her if she wanted to go she can. I’m scared that my feelings will change towards her; because we’ve already talked about this in the past. I don’t want this to jeopardize our relationship.

I have tried and tried to talk to him about this. (this has been going on for about 5 years). He won't tell me the reason. I ask him if he is tired of me or doesn't find me attractive, and he says that isn't it. I think he maybe seeing someone else, but i don't know when he would find the time. Whenever i call his office he is there. He never goes out at night. I am so upset. I am wondering if other men find me attractive, why doesn't he?

I am heading up a christian couples retreat. I want to make "goody" bags for each couple. I thought I would use some sexual shape chocolates, or powders or maybe some other no to naughty treats. My mother has became very sick and i need to move to take care of her. I have 2 kids a 14 yr old son who does not belong to my husband and we have a 4 yr old son together. At first i thought my husband was going to move with me now he says he is not going to move at all. He is also a paramedic but does not have to work because he Is a disabled vet and gets a good pension every month. He volunteers for the fire dept where we live now and i work full time as a paramedic. My 14 yr old son is not happy here where we live and i dont blame him we live in a apartment. I want our kids to be able to have a yard to play in and i want to spend what time i can with my mother while she is still living. My husband does not try to be a father to my teenage so either i am at a loss as to what to do.

he becomes extermely defensive and tries to turn the tables. he also has shifty eyes like hes checking to see if he's completly covered all his tracks and get very nervous. I usually find long hair on blakets clothing and shoe prints on my clothing. and some kinds of oils on the dash boards of our vehiles. i am becoming frustrated and desprate to find out. i dont want to become too obvious and not be able to catch him red handed by becoming i rate so i act as if i don't notice anything so he does not start accusing me again or get on the verg of kickling my you know what for questioning him.

I am just wanting some advice on how to cope with emotional affairs and move on. We are still married and he tells me he loves me all the time - but he told her he loved her too...I guess that is my problem now. I know he loves me. But it just does not mean the same to me anymore. And that makes me so sad but I just do not know how to get past that. So if anyone has any idea, please tell me. He also said they held hands when he was away from me at school - like in the mall, etc. And now, it's just like the saying I love you - when he holds my hands I think about them doing that - and I know this sounds trivial but I just hate it. We have 2 children and he was very abusive to me and the kids when were together. As soon as I signed the divorce papers, me and the kids moved to another state. Now he is always asking me whether I have gotten remarried or not. He has. But I do not see how that is any of his business. He claims legally he has a right to know.

For example they never want to share custody. I am a fit dad but she doesn't want to share parenting with my daughter. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see how biased the family court is towards mom and against dad. How could it be that most all divorces the kids end up with mom. It can't be that most dads are bad parents. It seems to me that women want equallity (and they should have it in every aspect), but they still want to be favored in court. Why?
