last night when we were arguing, she told me that i may not be the father of the baby she is carrying and that it may belong to a black man. what should i do?

Smack her around and then leave her. That's a pretty crappy slap in the face of her to come up and tell you that.

People don't usually make things like that up out of thin air. My suggestion, stick around if you want to be with her and the child, have a paternity test as soon as it is born. Otherwise, if you stick around and decide to play dad, she can hit you with child support for a child that isn't yours that won't stop until it turns 18. The opposite end is, if you leave now, you can be hit with the child support if it IS yours.
Also, re-evaluate your taste in woman if you're having "arguments" where statements like that are being made, or talk to her about your relationship. My concern would be more placed in why it may be some other guy's baby, because that typically means she has been cheating on you (duh). Sometimes, statements like that are a female's way of telling you, without completely TELLING you.

WHAT!!?? I would definitely leave. Get a paternity test done. If the baby is yours then you can still be a father to it without being with her. But if it's not yours, then you'll know she's a cheat and best stay as far away as possible. But I guarantee, she'll try to take that comment back and say she was just mad and trying to hurt you. I've seen it before. Don't believe her without a paternity test.

definitely get a paternity test. It's not about the color of the baby although if the baby has dark skin you more than likely have your answer. Just make sure and it's up to you if you want to stay with her or not. This is some serious stuff. Good Luck!

OMG! I am so sorry to hear that she is playing games like that. I think that you should sit down with her and talk about this in a rational way.
If it is true that she has cheated on you...give me a call...LOL
No, seriously you need to leave a woman that has so little respect for you. If she did cheat, then she has destroyed the foundation of your relationship. All healthy and long lasting relationships are built on the foundation of love, trust and respect. if even one of those things are missing, there is not point in continuing the relationship.
If she only said that horrible thing out of anger, i think that she needs a shrink.

Some times people just say things to hurt each other. Maybe she thought that was something that would really get your goat. After the baby is born find out. If you really believe her now, maybe you should separate or divorce for adultery. I wish you luck, but I fear no matter which way this goes, you will never trust her again.

Even if the child is yours, you have serious marital problems. I wish you the best, but this doesn't sound like a good relationship.
I'd wait until things cool off then ask her (calmly) if she was serious. If she was serious, I'd do a DNA test on the baby when it's born.
If it's not yours, you have incontestable grounds for a divorce.

I think some times things are said in the heat of an arguement/ I would go have a test done to see. Have her checked out to ! If she has been cheating on you...this is not right. Love and marriage should never be that way. My heart goes out to you !

forget the paternity test if the baby comes out and is black you know its not yours you know most of the time the baby comes out looking like the father in one way or another anyway
