oh god, doesn't sound good. My soon to be ex was VERY defensive when I asked him questions. And I later found out my glut feelings were right, which he still denies. Here's a tip, check cell phone bills if you can. If you see a lot of calls to a number you don't know call it (hide your caller id) and see who answers. I did that, and guess what, yup, some other woman. Even better try to call at an odd time, early in the am, or late in the pm. that way you might get voicemail and there's a chance you could learn a name. I did that, asked him about it, and he was stumbling for an answer. Don't accept she's just a friend GOOD LUCK!

Do something to try to catch him in the act. Set up a camera or if you don't have one rig things so that you can notice a change. Follow him or sneak back home when you are not supposed to be there. There are lots of things that you can do to find out for sure. It seems like you're already pretty convinced though. If you feel that strongly maybe you don't need evidence. Has anyone else said or noticed anything? (beware of "misery loves company" people though).
If you do find out for sure plan for you next move because you don't want to act to rashly and cause more problems for yourself. Be smart about it and get advice from friends/family first. Good luck!

Been there. I just had a gut feeling. Mine turned out to be right. He was seeing a 20-year old girl (he's 33) and sneaking around. He made excuses to work out at odd hours, stay late at the office, see male friends without me, etc. When I had obligations, he took advantage of that time as well. I started looking through his briefcase "innocently" and found 2 photos of her. Once I picked my heart and ego off the floor, I calmly asked him who she was. Luckily he was honest. He seemed to think we could work things out. He was wrong. Find out before you accuse, but if you suspect, you're probably right. If not, there's obviously some problems that the two of you need to work on. Get help bc I don't want you to go through what I did! Good luck!

you have to get down to the bottom of this problem, Do some investigating follow him, ask a friend to drive you and see where he goes. Sounds crazy but it might help you to find out. It does sound wierd that he is always defensive! That caould be nothing but it could be his way of hiding the truth! You never know.

Hide a tape recorder under the seat of your vehicle. You'll catch him AND have lasting proof.
